I can see why the club hasn't said more.

If they air Drenthe's dirty laundry in public, it lets other players know they could get similar treatment if they come in on loan. And it does Real no favours with us explaining to the world that they signed a bad tit and tried to palm him off all over the shop.
Also, we might actually have to keep him and pay whatever % we are doing till the end of the season, it could be part of the deal that brought him here.

4 goals and 7 assists. Compare that to Pienaar's impact since January.

Drenthe actually shows that Moyes has his limits with players, Pienaar, Arteta were on the naughty step at their respective former clubs, he brought them in and got greatness from them both. Royston is a player with problems a step or three above what Moyes can deal with. VDM was a gaping bum hole as well.

Straq hasn't set the world on fire with displays of footballing magic but the support back him to the hilt because he tries and tries damn hard.

I disagree about his talent too...he might not be world class but he was a miles better option than we could turn to than what was on the bench. THAT is a cutting your nose off to spite your face moment. Not saying it WOULD have worked, but we never got the chance to find out. I bet Dalglish and that GK of theirs was made up.

One more game, just one! For the good of the club, one more game then Moyes could have taken him down to the woodshed & shot him.
But no! moyes has to have discipline regardless of what it costs EFC & us supporters.

I don't think anybody is talking about signing him, just getting that massively important game out of him then booting him out of EFC afterwards.

i wanted him to play more than anyone ,because osman wide and that fat slow french kid give you fuvk all out wide ,roy does

You are right about Moyes there i fear. What makes it harder to take Moyes side in this is the fact that he's obviously had 'problems' with quite a few of the players he's signed (especially black ones it seems). I would hate Drenthe to end up at RS, or any Premier Club for that matter, and see him come good because of a management that knows how to handle him. This, i fear, is a distinct possibility.

Maybe he's already been tapped up by the RS and hence didn't give a fcuk about discipline or yesterday's game. Maybe he felt it would have been letting the side (RS) down. Time will tell. If it proves to be true there will be an AWFUL lot of bad blood between us and RS.
