To be fair, the last thread created was debating whether or not he should be fired... not promoted!

I thought he deserved a thread in a more positive light.

If it’s a choice between him for the rest of the season, or Benitez for the rest of the season, I would take Duncan all day. The only proviso I would have, is that when a new permanent manager is appointed, Duncan should walk away from the club and go and get himself a job somewhere else away from his comfort zone.

We still have not tried the 'non PL manager/coach' yet. We have always gone for someone with previous PL experience (I guess it's seen as the safe route) but in recent years the coaches/managers who have had the most success have come into clubs without it.

Did Ferguson or the crowd lift us against Chelsea? I’ve watched all 3 games back and we were dreadful in the final two games.

He’s been here for 6 different managers and nobody knows his roles or responsibilities.

I “get” the club, on that basis, should I be managed? Pathetically stupid argument and one I detest.
