After just two games in charge Ferguson has proved he's good at making the most from the hand he's been dealt.

A depleted squad, the toughest run of fixtures for 2 years and the man has got off to a flyer. He got a result today our first choice 11 would not have stood a chance of getting under Silva.

Early days but any knocking of him is uncalled for as we stand now i truly think.

it is definitely awful man management. I’ve seen Schneiderlin, a season “professional” who did worst and receive less “punishment”. It’s one thing to criticise and discipline but this substitution is leaning heavily towards humiliation.

I've seen Everton wilt far too many times away from Goodison in games like that over the years, especially the last few years.
We take the lead, they get one back, the home crowd get behind them. Everton fold.

Duncs Everton looked to get a winner there and it was great to see.

Did anyone really think Keans performance warranted a change with 5 mins to go? Obviously something must be going on behind the scenes for him to make a example out of him like that, just think it wasn't necessary so close to the end. Apart from that I can't complain, would've took a draw before the game considering all the injuries we have. Holgate put in a great performance and so did DCL.

Got a point at Utd with only one out and out CM in Tom Davies, not many managers could achieve that. Holgate though was excellent along side him.

Its the sort of rash heart over head decision that got OGS the Utd gig - players will inevitably put in more of a shift for a club figurehead but give it a few months and the hype and intensity will drop.

He's doing a good job whilst we assess candidates but there should be no way he gets the job on a full time basis.

My fear is Moshiri who seems to always want to be the popular guy in the eyea of the fans will cave in to fan sentiment / Kenwrong in his ear and will likely sack off someone like Ancelotti, Kovac or Marcelino in order to take the cheap gamble on Dunc.

As I said if we gave him the gig full time it wont be long before we are drawing games at home 1-1 against galoot sides like Palace and Newcastle with the fans desperate to see us doing some incisive passing to open them up not long ball after long ball that keeps coming back.

We saw today with Maguire it doesnt work - it worked at Chelsea because the atmosphere was bouncing at home and chelsea's CB's didnt want a battle.

Made up with 4 points but all im saying is fans wanting Dunc given the job full time need to give their heads a shake.

Going forward we need a manager who can have us competing.

You may be 100% right with this.
But it's far from Allardyce with more conviction/work rate.

Tactically superb today. Like night and day the last two games compared to what was served up beforehand.

The players look like they actually know what they are supposed to be doing, there was bit more backbone than usual (once they scored let's be honest we usually concede about 2 minutes later) and we looked threatening once they had scored which was nice.

Very impressed and the board should be very very grateful that he's basically hiding their incompetence by pulling off some positive results.

Yes, and DCL has got a touch of snide, looks a different player.
