whatever else he has done he has certainly made us better at defending set pieces. best we have looked in while in our own box.

t just shows the fragility of elite sportsmen, and women. He had no more than a few hours before Chelsea, and holy cow, the difference in the same players was enormous. Similar at United. But somehow they responded.
I have a close mate who is a pro golfer, Senior Tour these days. But back in the day, he won Opens in Spain and Maderia, beating the finest players on earth that year. Twice. Was ranked 25 ish on the OOM. He was GOOD.
These days, playing against the same players mostly, he is regularly propping up the leader board.
Illustrates how utterly unbelievable the absolute elite in any sport actually are.
Whose your golfing mate if you don't mind me asking
Andrew Sherborne. Got to scroll back a few years to when he had his purple period mind.
Spot on mate, I thought it might have been Mark James. Seniors tour is still boss as well
Bloody Staysure or sommet now. Just follow him online when he manages to qualify for a tournament. Often squeezes onto the smaller ones as about 20th in Cat 8.
One of the nicest blokes you could meet.
edit. Just seen what thread I am in. Soz.
Bit early to judge what sort of football a Ferguson team would play. At Old Trafford he had Mason Holgate playing in centre midfield, and looking good. That's the same Mason Holgate who I seem to remember you don't think is good enough for us when he's in his proper position. I suspect if 'El Gaffer' had done something similar you'd have been creaming yourself!
Loads of the experienced golfers are brilliant to have a chat with, really down to earth fellas.
Great to see he's still doing what he loves and I'm sure not doing too badly out of it either
I'm wondering whether there's a Caledonian equivalent to this? The galoot is a hoofball merchant.
Hopefully he gets punted by capo di tutti capi.
King of the Krankies?I'm wondering whether there's a Caledonian equivalent to this?
