Very true, last two matches I wasn’t even concerned about opposition set pieces, whereas before I used to cover my eyes and await a goal. Mind you I think some of our defenders did the same.....

Tonight will be another tough match make no mistake but instead of 30 odd thousands fans going to the game out of habit and fearing the worst, we csn go there tonight and try to roar the lads on for every loose ball, tackle, contest every decision and hopefully help them to a win.

I have a close mate who is a pro golfer, Senior Tour these days. But back in the day, he won Opens in Spain and Maderia, beating the finest players on earth that year. Twice. Was ranked 25 ish on the OOM. He was GOOD.

These days, playing against the same players mostly, he is regularly propping up the leader board.

Bloody Staysure or sommet now. Just follow him online when he manages to qualify for a tournament. Often squeezes onto the smaller ones as about 20th in Cat 8.

Bit early to judge what sort of football a Ferguson team would play. At Old Trafford he had Mason Holgate playing in centre midfield, and looking good. That's the same Mason Holgate who I seem to remember you don't think is good enough for us when he's in his proper position. I suspect if 'El Gaffer' had done something similar you'd have been creaming yourself!

Made more out of property most likely! Been seriously poor for years, other than a few one offs.

Me and him used to take my lads to watch Bristol Rugby play while he waited to turn 50 and get on the senior tour. They idolised him.

A bit like Goodison will with Dunc tonight! (phew)
