No, it is true, because it's meant to be a functioning unit.

He hasn't brought any of our strikers along and yet while his man in charge has fallen by the wayside, he's fallen upwards. It's ridiclous.

it’s not though is it? If you’re boss was sacked in work because he’s sh** at his job, would you expect to be? Because I wouldn’t

just because he was a centre forward, doesn’t mean he directly works with the strikers? Boa Morte didn’t, he was a forward? I’ve not heard of John Ebbrell working solely with midfielders? Lukaku & DCL have credited him with improving there game regardless.

If big Dunc has any aspirations of being a manager here or anywhere else in the future, I hope for him he’s been watching Silva closely, because Silvas why is not the way to do it. I just hope Dunc has noticed in training where silva has been going wrong, if he has he should be able to fix the biggest problems. Dunc has been around the first team everyday,
Unsworth hasn’t.

there were a lot of media reports about him working with the forwards over the years. At the start of this season he was banging on about how DCL is the future of the club... yadayadayada.

Lampard might have to keep his distance, Dunc will really be up for this, they say he’s matured but on the touch line I expect to see the old Dunc we all loved back in the day.

Not sure about this appointment. He has worked under good managers here. The likes of Martinez and Koeman did well before their time here and have done well after leaving. I loved his as a player but we haven't really looked well coached since Dunc has been here. Hopefully he can unify the Club get the feel good factor back and hand over the Club to a top manager.
