Not sure about this appointment. He has worked under good managers here. The likes of Martinez and Koeman did well before their time here and have done well after leaving. I loved his as a player but we haven't really looked well coached since Dunc has been here. Hopefully he can unify the Club get the feel good factor back and hand over the Club to a top manager.

I think one thing that's certain is that the lads will be full of fight on Saturday. If Dunc does little else, he surely knows how to instill some aggression into our lads and Chelsea are hardly invincible at the moment.
With Dunc on the touchline and Goodison baying for some softarse Cockney blood, we may just show some of the fight that saw us through the end of last season.

Defence more or less picks it self (hopefully we see the end of zonal marking now) Midfield is also a big problem we are so short in there, I wouldn’t be surprised if Snides is picked, Dunc will get grief for that but he hasn’t got much choice, Sigs and DCL 100% shouldn’t start.

I think that’s the view we have to take. We have to get behind the lot of them (even though they probably don’t warrant it) and bring some confidence and unity back.

Yep Sigs is a big problem, such a lazy player. The downfall with injuries Snides would probably replace him.

He’s been on the bench the last two or three seasons, is he shy? What’s stopped him from instilling some aggression during that time on the bench?
