Duncan Ferguson - The Coach

The attitude on here, from some, explains why more fans of other clubs are beginning to see us in the same light as self-entitled Newcastle fans. I don’t care what other clubs fans think but I do care what our own think. Some of us seem to forget what the word “support” means.

Agreed. Goodison park is morgue this season. Yeah you can blame the performances but its all so easy to sing when your winning.
All we do now is sit in silence for 10 minutes then moan and groan when we arent 3-0 inside the first 15 minutes. I hate Goodison Park lately, lost its aura.

Spot on! Now we're turning against our own. Duncan breaths, sweats and bleeds Everton. Okay, he might not be best for the long term but he's here to do a job in the interim but yet we can't get behind him to help us out of this mess. Some how we've become self entitled and no one is good enough now unless they're elite managers. That time has passed (possibly it was never on). Spurs went through a few average / decent managers until they stumbled upon Pochettino they didn't just get the best. Spurs are way ahead of us in quality and leadership we need to build bit by bit.

"He was a catalyst for some of our biggest moments in a dire period of our history."

We won the cup in 95 without him. The only big moment. The catalysts for that were players like Amokachi and Dave Watson and Parkinson and Limpar.

Ferguson was a player with a reputation based not on football but what he could do with his fists.

In short: regardless of whether you were starved of 80s type success, a judgment could easily be made about what his net effect was for Everton, and it wasn't a good one. A fist pumping, shirt waving fake at the end of the day. And he's conned a generation who had nothing much to cheer about for the last 20 years by getting their complicity in keeping him on as a coach.

Say it to his face. He’d make lemon juice out of your head.

I love the way you go against the majority opinion on literally every single discussion related to Everton, be it players, managers or stadium. You're so damn hip and edgy lol
