It's hard to be a great player, but in a time under Bingham where we were classed as a boring team , and should have won the league, he was that type of player the fans needed , flare , class , cheeky - he lit the team up - Gordon Lee thought otherwise.....I admire him as he has always kept a strong interest in us after all the clubs he played for......he certainly entertained, and scored some good goals for us in his magical way...........I didn’t think he was a great player in any sense of the word, but it’s all about opinion.

Yes like Big Dunc he was around as a talisman ... the fans loved him but imo never a legend, but a player who lit the team up in bad times........I get all that, Joey.

...absolutely, but still not very good.
Because he's an entertainer and football is an entertainment industry?...I was never a fan but I can understand why others liked him during that time.
Because he's an entertainer and football is an entertainment industry?
Duncan was all we had in the late 70s. He's far more of a legend than the other Duncan, thats for sure.
