Dunc's Chance to Shine

I don't understand the snide remarks about Duncan , I didn't want him as manager and it is a definitely time for him to move on.
I personally hope he has every success wherever he goes as who knows his time may come again with the blues.

I think most feel the same way you do, I'll be pleased to see him go just because we need a clean slate - I hope he does well though wherever he goes.

I also hope it doesn't have a negative impact on him personally and he understands why things needed to change. If I recall correctly didn't he go bankrupt a while back? Fingers crossed he has built up a nest egg and is past that point where things turn south.

I would have been more than happy to have him around the club as an ambassador or coaching kids but he needs a break from the first team so we can try a different approach.

Lovely.

Dont feel sorry for me, I'm made up.

Too far was handing him 6 years when he was part and parcel of every failed regime we had under Moshiri.
Dave you need to get a seat in the upper glwadys, we're all proper miserable arses up there you would fit like a finger in your eye

I can understand that, and your frustration and annoyance. Believe me, I have felt the same for far too long, but let us part in peace and with dignity and pray we all have a better future.
My angst is not with yourself, nor with the Big Man, but more with our seemingly endless hopeless situation caused by incompetence at every level of our once great club.
Let us all move progressively onwards.

Stay safe Youngfella.

It really is his chance to shine. He was never going to get the managers job full time and was never going to leave unless he was forced to. Sunderland seems like a good fit.

Just hope that the Sunderland fans aren't like ours or they'll be yelling on their forum " He played for Newcastle once so I hate him and will never forgive him, why aye man he's a cone layer" They must have bellends like ours in their ranks surelylol

Supposedly off now to make way for Lampard's crew. For the best imo if he wants to actually be a manager. Realistically this should have happened after his first spell as Caretaker.

Absolutely gutted for Sunderland. Mind you, after the way they treated Reid they maybe deserve it.
Reid was " S%$£ as a manager, no wonder Sunderland got rid.
Did you see him in that documentary.
Also ridiculously famed for turning round the mid eighties team under Kendall, when we all know it was Andy Gray.
Reid had been at Everton for 18 months and nothing had changed.
Then Andy Gray turned up and we went on to great memories.
But for some weird reason Reid gets all the accolades

Good luck to the Big fellow, whatever adventure lies a head, you were like a loyal gun dog to this club, but as they say, every dog has his day.
I would hope that where ever you turn up that if you get a game against the Toffee's we'll raise the roof for you one more time, unless you win and then we'll have a massive fume. :drunk:;)
