Just been reading loads of negative posts about McNeil on this thread. Season has not even started and already he is being slated! Give him a chance and the rest of the team and stop being so negative. I dont read other teams forums but I cant imagine they are as negative as some fans on here (well maybe man utd fans!)

I’d guess their natural abilities will have been held back a lot but in fairness he’d have helped their defensive side massively. I’m fairly sure McNeil legitimately had world class stats as a defensive winger and Tarkowski was getting in the England squads.

If both can use the knowledge that Burnley and Dyche kinda forced them into but also be more confident in their own footballing ability to be more expressive then I think the pair of them for a total £20m will be some of the best business we’ve had in decades.
