I am going to go out on a limb here, but from what I have seen of him (Burnley games and good ol' youtube reels) and providing this guy gets game time then he will comfortably be well into double figures for goals and assists in this upcoming season.


Happy with this signing, player profile and skillset...

I could be wrong but didn’t dyche drop him from the Burnley starting team before he got the chop and was playing Lennon instead then Mike Jackson started him and Burnley started to pick up wins and look better offensively?

Dyche has never been a good manager for him. He gave him an opportunity at 19 years old, sure, but as @AmericasToffee said earlier it's clear that he's never actually been coached properly.

Pretty sure McNeil was being touted around as one of the top young English talents coming through in the season before last.

Pretty much a must watch. His conversion rate is turrible because I don't think Dyche or anyone tried to coach him to take better shots

Yeah that part was really interesting. He usually played as traditional 442 winger in a strict defensive system, so I think that plays a big part. There has to be some accountability on him to keep trying something that doesn’t work over and over again (except against us of course).

He seems to have a curler in his locker though, so I’m really curious where he’ll be playing for us. His best value probably comes from being more withdrawn, but that’s at the expense of goals. Personally I’m not expecting goals and I think we need another decent goal scorer ASAP. Let him do what he does best, I think he makes us stronger.

Killa was like having Lee Carsley at left midfield. Highly functional but painful to watch.

McNeil is a technically much more gifted player, as much as I liked Zinedine Kilbane.
