I think people are incredibly incredibly harsh over this lad and are holding his stats from last year against him rather than give him a chance. He's another who is only 22. Give the bloke a break, we're 11 games into a new season where the team are still finding their feet together.

I think judging him over a season may be a better indicator don't you think but either way, I think people are 100% holding last seasons stats against him.

Mate he has 3 goals in his last 85 league games... going back to 2020/21 season then just 1 assist in his last 49 league appearances too.

He's rubbish. Supposed to be a forward/attacking player yet does absolutely nothing majority of the time he's on the pitch.

I just think a 22 year old can improve. Last season may have effected him confidence wise, no doubt about it but Burnley are hardly known for free flowing goal scoring football.

He was very highly rated prior to last season so I'm willing to let him find his feet before writing him off. People never ever learn with young players, they're inconsistent and don't post huge numbers unless elite level.

All I am saying is too early too judge him for me.

He's in the bottom 1% and 3% respectively for goals and assists when compared against attacking mids and wingers within the top 5 leagues. He's nowhere near good enough and it's reflected in his performances and our position.

He's only just joined from a relegated club who had a stinker of a season. How about getting behind him and try give the lad some confidence. The way we jump on players is getting ridiculous. 11 games in and he's getting dogs abuse, it isn't a good look.

I shall wait a while longer before condemning the lad to the torture chamber.

Think sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade and McNeill tosh

I dont really care about his stats, but purely based on his performances for us so far he looks well below standard.

He looks a bit short on confidence to me, not surprising really he had a hard season last season in a poor team and his own form not wonderful.

I'm not going one way or the other, as with all young players I'm willing to see how it plays out before I chuck him under the bus.
