McNeill is just not good enough, the worrying thing is, he was not good enough for Burnley either. It was obvious that, apart from one decent spell three years ago, that he was far too slow, weak and one footed to make is at this level. He has some qualities, but, not enough to make up for his deficiencies. We really are the only club that would have paid 12 million plus for him. Makes you wonder if @davek was right with his conspiracy theory ??
What was the conspiracy?

We paid Burnley off to stop them pursuing their complaint?

Don’t blame McNeil, blame the set-up that purchased him. The problem with Everton is we have no idea who’s accountable for bringing him in. He’s not the problem, he’s a symptom of the problem.

100% we identified the wrong player if we had quality with pace in front of him he would be fine as a squad player
