Keeping hold of him this window might prove to be our best bit of business in years.
Kevin Thelwell worked day and night for 31 days trying to get him out but there isn't a pub team in the country stupid enough to take this joker on a free. (Ah well, only 4.5 more years of him under contract here I suppose......)

He has a sweet left foot Charlie. He could score some goals. I think we need to toughen him up a bit. Toughen the lot of them up.
Looking at his stats he did get quite a few assists at Burnley, problem we gave is him not having anyone to assist.
I'm sure he has to be better then the player we have seen, likewise the whole squad

If he spends 3 months just fizzing balls between centre backs and keeper, we will score goals, even from errors.

None of this bollox about the manager telling you how to get to the final third then it’s up to you to show your quality. Hard no, we have no quality. Get the ball in dangerous areas and unless defences make zero errors for the full 90
mins, England’s former backup number 9 will score a few.

McNeil has one single good attribute, and it’s not skinning his man and getting to the byline. If he can overcome his apparent terror of playing in front of a boisterous crowd, he will be useful under the new style. Useless in most systems, but we may finally play to his meagre single strength.
