I’m a hell of a lot calmer about it than I was last season. There was still an element of “out of the blue” about the whole thing last year. This one, nah. Pretty much called it as soon as the summer window shut.

As soon as we let Lampard stay after the Bournemouth saga that week I knew. We had a 6 wk break with only 4 players at the WC, the other 21 could have been under a new manager settling into his method of playing.

Can actually cross the ball, pretty much the only player who can consistently. Played well again today.

Iwobi for example has been 4/10 and Maupay 3/10 so as you say, hes stood out due to others being bad.

Because he barely has an impact on the game. He is an attacking player who doesn't score and rarely assists. Teams at the bottom like us overrate poor players. No decent team in the Premier League would want him.

As a wide midfielder he’s actually playing quite well - he doesn’t have the forward instincts to play wide forward in a 433, what were the scouting department thinking when they signed him for Lampard’s system?!

You could get away with a hardworking wide midfielder who didn’t score much but it’s just such a badly balanced squad that there are no goals in the rest of the team - we’re kicking them in every department.
