There's a right way and a wrong way to handle the vaults. We're all human 90% of posters are human and we all make mistakes or say stuff in the heat of the moment.

And moaning about McNeil not finding his feet early season is one such example that many were guilty of.

I’ve always found, that not moaning about any player or manager, until they’ve had some time to settle and find their feet, is the best policy.

As much as I disliked him, I even even applied that logic to the unemployed fat Spaniard, before going full metal and only then, once it became obvious, that he was destroying the club from the inside out.

Except for the truly, obviously bad players I think given how most of our signings have worked out it's only fair to give everyone a fair run until it's obviously not working out.

Haaland and Mbappe would have struggled to hit 10 goals this season with us. We're just not good all over the pitch.

We are all happy when they turn it around at Everton. I can recall when most of us thought Pickford was a liability. Stones was a nightmare etc. We react in the moment as fans but usually give players some time before slating them.

Wouldn't like that. He's doing excellently where he is being able to cross it in or cut in and have a shot. If we can get another player in with a bit more pace on the other flank and a top CF we can throwback to the Mirallas - Lukaku - Del days.

He’s miles better centrally than out wide. Always has been.

Think he'd be even better with a full back who could support the attack better. Think too often this season he and anyone else on the wing was pretty much having to attack a side on their own compared to when we had the likes of Baines and Coleman in his prime bombing on ahead of them to give their FB's something to think about.

Yes for the first 7 or 8 matches I was quite happy. Then it went into free fall.

McNeill's goals saved us. He's never scored that many before, but if he can keep that up maybe even add a couple to it as he had a slow start last season, he could prove a decent signing. Hopefully we'll add the striker we need and DCL will have sorted his fitness out as well. Things suddenly start to look better.

So impressed with him. Biggest turnaround Ive seen. From being terrible every week to among our best players, all in one horrible season. Fair Play, Dwight, fair play!
