Dyche out Moyes in.

Textor looks like a Hollywood appointer - Moyes aint Hollywood - Thankfully!
Moyes actually has a very strong Premier League record. He’s proven he can consistently do a good job even under difficult circumstances. People seem to want some mythical coach who can come in and get world class results while playing silky football.

I’d rather have a pragmatic manager who can adapt and do well in multiple scenarios. Moyes is one of the few who proved capable of building a good team over a longer term.

Think he's a better manager than Dyche with better football - but I wouldn 't be expecting any miracles from him.

Could he take us to the glass ceiling again though ?

I feel David Moyes would do well with us due to the amount of injuries we have at the moment. I have always thought he did better when the thinking side of things was removed and he was forced to make changes and make do; the old "Backs against the wall" mentality.

Not a chance mate, he wouldnt do that...

People say this but Moyes as much as I loved him didn’t really like young defenders. Baines had a long time as understudy whilst Lescott played left back and Yobo was in the middle. Coleman was at right wing, then on loan at Blackpool, then back on right wing whilst Hibbert played. Neither were particularly that young either. Rooney was benched often, Rodwell wasn’t trusted at CB and turned into a midfielder, Barkley was played on the wing.

He was a great manager for us and probably did the right thing with a lot of those players but I don’t think for a second Moyes let’s Mina Coady Holgate go out the door, then benches Godfrey and Keane so he can play Branthwaite every game.

You mean he developed the players and then integrated them into the team? Its better than just ruining a player by chucking them in before they are ready.

He tried to bring Cole Palmer in at West Ham before Chelsea got him, so he clearly still knows what to look for in a player.

Moyes is a workaholic and would give us advantages that Dyche isn't capable of. Dyche is a poor man's Moyes in my opinion but this type of manager is the best type to keep the club in the league.

So I would go for Moyes now if possible. If not, then you would have to keep Dyche but only until it becomes untenable which looks very possible.
