Maybe, but what would be a better option? Moyes has vast experience and knows the club. He’s even tried to sign a few of the players in the squad who ended up coming here.

Sometimes the obvious, sensible choice is the best one.

I agree but at the moment we have no owner so how can we get a long term replacement? Who is taking the job knowing they could be given the boot immediately.

The thing is managers get their contract paid up if they get sacked. when we had Big Sam, he agreed a 2 year deal, £6m a year and when we let him go we had to pay him the full £12m on his contract and nobody, outside of Everton, thought he had done a bad job.

The fella tried to take 2 of our best players at the time, on the cheap as he knew his “best mate” kenwright was skint. He even was quoted as saying Everton were holding back their careers!!

Woodward tried to sign our players on the cheap not moyes. They would of had a conversation about who they wanted to bring in but the negotiations would of been all Woodward.

Baines was a long standing target for United under ferguson also. So them coming back in for him while they have the manager that got the best out of him isnt a surprise.

Also lets not forget that if they haven't of signed fellaini we wouldn't of veen able to get lukaku, McCarthy and barry who were all integral to the 72pts team.
