dyche thinks

No other Manager could do any better with these players.

What a load of codswallop that turned out to be. Moyes has only lost 1 game since he was appointed and has us 17 points clear of the relegation zone allowing us to enjoy the final season at Goodison without fears of relegation.

So happy Dyche isn't here any more.

Coleman played 12 games last season, Ashley young played over 30, let’s not try and make out Coleman was massively important to our back 4. And gana, garner and Onana played the similar number of games last season, Gana was our most important midfielder, which I have no doubt you would have put this If he’d been out injured early this season. And McNeil was Dyche’s most creative player because we we’re a set piece team and he took every one. And he was available for 70% of this seasons games under dyche.

How convenient that when we used to argue about Onana being sold he wasn’t a key player for Dyche because Dyche played Gueye and Garner at the end of the season. Yet when is say Garner was a key midfielder when injured you say it was actually Onana because he played the same.

The point remains the same. You and Mike would take no single factor whatsoever in discussions about Dyche. None. The entire first 11 could have been struck down with crucial ligament injuries and you would have slammed him every minute of the day for not winning with the kids.

Suddenly recognising all these factors for a manager you like is just hypocrisy.

These factors have always had an impact on football on the pitch. It did for Dyche, it will for Moyes. Completely disregarding them under one then embracing them under another is bizarre. The ‘yeah but all the players you’ve listed actually weren’t important’ argument is just absolutely delusional crazy. Coleman the club captain, Branthwaite our best CB, Garner. Key midfielder, and McNeil aren’t important now? Behave.

You know it happened. ‘Cundy and O’Hara said Everton were boring’ look look! It was probably the nadir of the cry bots arguments on here referencing those two.

For me, taking a next step this season didn't mean to finish on 58-60 points, but to see development on the pitch with a manager going into his 2nd full season. We haven't invested as much some other teams in the league, but Fulham, Palace, Bmouth and Forest made a step forward with the same manager, whilst we made a step backwards.

Moyes proved Dyche to be wrong, as we've (almost) doubled or even more than doubled some things, like goals, big chances created etc. in 10 games under Moyes than in the 19 previous under Dyche.

This shows for me even more that players wasn't the only problem, as limited as some of ours are.

We haven’t invested anything. We’ve turned a transfer profit. Look how much money the other teams spent.

I’ve said it time and time again. Everton fans keep getting angry at their manager for not outperforming every other manager in the league whilst we are giving them less resources. If there’s a points per pound table Dyche was at the top because he’s the only one saving money for every point he earns!

It’s as though people go ‘yeah but if I just ignore the 10s of millions pounds difference in transfer expenditure’ then these managers have progressed their teams and Dyche hasn’t. Also it’s temporary progression, De Zerbi took Brighton forward then took them back (ironically to the same position Dyche had us in 23/24)

Brighton spent 200 mill in the summer. We made money. That’s almost a quarter of a billion and people act like it’s not a factor between why a side might progress or not progress. It’s truly wild. Imagine we spent 200 mill in positive transfer spend this summer? Would people expect us to absolutely fly past a bottom half team that’s selling off its best players? Of course they would, but when it’s the other way round it’s Sean Dyche’s fault.

You know it happened. ‘Cundy and O’Hara said Everton were boring’ look look! It was probably the nadir of the cry bots arguments on here referencing those two.

Go on then, find some quotes where people refer to Cundy and O’Hara when talking about Dyche’s managerial abilities. What a weird thing to come up with, even for your creative brain.

I’m discussing Moyes not Dyche, let’s be honest here I was more than grateful for Dyche’s two previous seasons but nobody could be happy with his teams performances this season and he threw his hand in himself. As for utterly raging over Moyes being better than Dyche you don’t have to bother I’ve seen all of the home games at Goodison going back a long time and I’m pleased with the wins and points gained by Moyes since he came back but I won’t let eleven games persuade me over the eleven and half years we had with Moyes last time, so if you don’t mind I’ll wait until I see how the rest of the season pans out.

Where do the two seasons come from? We won 1 game in 11 before the final game against bournemouth. You're grateful for staying up 30 minutes before the end of the season? Its not like we were adrift at the bottom when he took over.
He really has got it into some peoples head that he's this fire fighting expert.
Moyes isnt some new manager bounce or genius. He's just exposed what a terrible manager dyche is. Im not going to be petty and take away the points deduction season. The 3 awful teams helped. But having two points deductions could have destroyed a club. I still think a bog standard manager may have kept the club up coz of the likes of Sheff utd and luton.
His press conferences were becoming unbearable at Everton. Constantly putting the club down and telling everyone if it wasnt for him Everton would already be playing non league football. Everything about him was self preservation to throw you off the scent because he was so limited.
Moyes has utterly exposed him.
