dyche thinks

That Talksport gig is perfect for him to rebuild his reputation after Moyes has made him look a bit silly.

He can spin it the way he's want now.

Well, he probably knows himself that Everton was probably the club with the highest potential he'll ever get the chance to show that he can adapt to a better team than a Burnley that is just happy to stay in the league every season.

But his next job will be relegation battle with a small club or 2nd league.

Where do the two seasons come from? We won 1 game in 11 before the final game against bournemouth. You're grateful for staying up 30 minutes before the end of the season? Its not like we were adrift at the bottom when he took over.
He really has got it into some peoples head that he's this fire fighting expert.
Moyes isnt some new manager bounce or genius. He's just exposed what a terrible manager dyche is. Im not going to be petty and take away the points deduction season. The 3 awful teams helped. But having two points deductions could have destroyed a club. I still think a bog standard manager may have kept the club up coz of the likes of Sheff utd and luton.
His press conferences were becoming unbearable at Everton. Constantly putting the club down and telling everyone if it wasnt for him Everton would already be playing non league football. Everything about him was self preservation to throw you off the scent because he was so limited.
Moyes has utterly exposed him.
Well you can write Dyche’s season up a bit better when beat Bournemouth 1-0 to stay up by stating the whole picture—-Under Dyche that season we played 18 games with him in charge winning 6 drawing 6 and losing six which got us 24 points so over the season with him in charge we might have got 50 points. I think we might have been in the bottom three when he took over so that was one season and in the next Everton won 48 points so that made me grateful for the two seasons.I know Moyes is no genius I remember him from the eleven and a half seasons he was here previously. Moyes has done well over ten games but has won one out of the last six.

Page 1798 of the Dyche 24/25 thread. You should know you piled in behind them.

So you’re telling me they said something correct about Dyche nearly 2000 pages into the Sean Dyche thread, and now that means that actually they were influencing all of our opinions on him? I can assure you my opinion on Dyche was formed before page 1798 of the Dyche thread.

Your head has truly gone here, this is one of your biggest reaches to date.

We haven’t invested anything. We’ve turned a transfer profit. Look how much money the other teams spent.

I’ve said it time and time again. Everton fans keep getting angry at their manager for not outperforming every other manager in the league whilst we are giving them less resources. If there’s a points per pound table Dyche was at the top because he’s the only one saving money for every point he earns!

It’s as though people go ‘yeah but if I just ignore the 10s of millions pounds difference in transfer expenditure’ then these managers have progressed their teams and Dyche hasn’t. Also it’s temporary progression, De Zerbi took Brighton forward then took them back (ironically to the same position Dyche had us in 23/24)

Brighton spent 200 mill in the summer. We made money. That’s almost a quarter of a billion and people act like it’s not a factor between why a side might progress or not progress. It’s truly wild. Imagine we spent 200 mill in positive transfer spend this summer? Would people expect us to absolutely fly past a bottom half team that’s selling off its best players? Of course they would, but when it’s the other way round it’s Sean Dyche’s fault.

Never rated de Zerbi that much tbf, does decent in France now, see more in Hurzeler, especially tactically he seems to have much more in his pipeline. And was astonished Brighton didn't spend last season while in Europe.

Dyche set the benchmark last season with 48 points, but I don't see why the attack was so bad that we went from mid-table numbers to a relegation numbers, without losing key players for the attack.

No excuses Sean, don’t let us down.

Well no I’m not telling you that, you’ve just invented what you would have liked me to have told you. I said this ‘The same people who were bringing up Jamie O‘Hara and Jason Cundy as some sort of definitive evidence to bash Dyche are now mocking his employment on Talksport. They’re not the same, despite your ‘reach’.

He did well to keep us up after taking over from Frank Lampard. Without the point deductions we would've finished closer to the top ten than the relegation zone in his one full season as manager here.

As it is even with the deductions we were still well clear and safe of relegation trouble by the end.

We did go four months without a win after Christmas i think so perhaps even without the points deduction our final league position that season would have flattered us.

He was out of ideas well before the end though, he even admitted that to the new owners. Sean Dyche did a decent job for us overall though in what was very dire and challenging circumstances.

He had to deal with an owner who lost interest and wanted out, he had to deal with a corrupt PL that wanted it's pound of flesh as well.

He's still well above the Mike Walker and Rafael Benitez levels of Everton managerial crapness and ineptness for me.

I see you’ve just added a win out of thin air there again to try and make him look better. He won 5 and gained 21 points.

How many seasons out of 11 did Moyes get under 50 points, out of curiosity? I see it’s different rules for him though.
