dyche thinks

I bet he honestly thought he’d be Leicester manager by now, and the fact he isn’t showed him that his standing isn’t what he thought it was so now he’s doing the media rounds to remind people that he exists and that Everton wasn’t his fault
I’d agree except I’d say they can’t afford to sack that massive mistake

He came in and did what he was asked to do for 2 seasons. Ran out of steam this season and is what he is, a very defensive minded manager. I don't hear anything in that talkSport clip to get upset about - unless you're just 'waiting to be offended.' He kept us in the Premier League and i know it's beacause 'there were 3 teams worse than us', but that's how league tables work.

Correct answer.
Didn’t mind him as a manger for a short crisis ridden time. Didnt mind him moving on with new owners. I’m guessing the “done as much as could” comment was based on him unable to change the squad in January. He readily admits things were going stale as most places can when the there is cloud over the club with ownership and investment.

Moved on, earning his crust on a radio station I never listen to, but the bit that are shared on here are absolutely how I imagined things behind the scenes.

Was hard to argue with anything he said to be honest. Though i didn't listen to the whole thing.

Fair play, he got us out of a couple of tight spots - when the club was a skip fire, when that passed everyone wanted to move on including him and guess what they moved did, no muss no fuss. I think all involved can do that and be grateful.

The venom around him by some, i don't think ill ever get.

I think whether one likes him or not, he was the guy who kept us up during that terrible season, and for that he should - in the round - be well regarded by Everton and Everton supporters going forward. Sure, had someone else been in charge perhaps they would’ve kept us up, too, but they weren’t and Dyche was. So I’m thankful for his stint nonetheless.

Yes he kept us up despite himself at times, but he did also have to deal with a lot of [Poor language removed] - from inside the club and the Premier League. And as I said, though another may have done better, ‘another’ wasn’t in the job. So would I want him now and am I glad he’s gone - no and yes. But am I thankful to him for not taking us down? YES.

He didn't keep us up despite himself, he kept us up dealing with a manure show of internal and existential threat. Lets not revise history here.

Anything else is mean spirited. (In general not directed at you mate).

His position became untenable after the takeover and TFG started sniffing around the next appointment, i think he and the players knew that. To be fair to him he could have stuck around but he himself decided to move on - which you have to say fair play also.
