Well let’s see where we finish before we discuss that.
He did his job for 1,5 seasons in a pretty difficult period, but failed to take the next step, which was asked this season. We looked worse in the attack than last season, that his successor was able to find solutions in a very short time doesn't speak for him.
Still think we'd stayed up and have a few points more distance to the last 3 with how bad Ipswich and Leicester became in the last 11 games, but it would be 16th and 17th in a battle with Wolves, with a huge gap to the region we are now with a chance to become 13th.
I think they have both had it hard with the threadbare squads and it has got worse for Moyes the last few weeks with the injuries—-let’s look at Moyes record since he came P 11 W4 D5 L2– Those four wins I thought he was lucky playing an injury ravaged Spurs and could have lost that if the game had lasted another few minutes, then playing an atrocious Leicester City both those games at home, then they beat Brighton away with one shot on target- a penalty and defended the whole game in a typical Dyche effort, won at Crystal Palace with a lot of luck but coming after a very hard fought mid week Derby draw v Liverpool that was understandable, then five draws out of the last six games, three of them with last minute goals all at home, the last game a very poor performance v WHU. The Derby game I thought we deserved better than a draw but anytime we play Liverpool at Goodison we seem to rise to the occasion because it is a Derby game and Dyche’s team battered and bullied Liverpool in a well deserved victory. So the reason I’m saying let’s see where we finish is the last six games were we have won once throwing the United game away after winning 2-0 but letting a very poor United back into the game by playing for a whenWhy? The situations are hardly fair, Moyes has had 4 key first team players removed through injury for the last 3 months of the season. At the start of the season when Dyche we missing 1 player, we had people saying “what do you expect” when losing 4/4 games.
This post is positioned somewhat awkwardly.He’s gaslighting us again, just ignore the clueless bellend.

So we have won 17 points from 10 league games. Notice that you failed to mention that we didn't get the pen against United. I am not referring to his part season. I am referring to this season. His part season could have gone any way with or without Dyche. Then last season despite the points reduction flagged his type of footy. No wins in 4 months then seen us win 3 or 4 games in a week or so. Great week but I flagged him for inconsistency. This season we had a nonsense pre-season that didn't prepare us for the season ahead then 3 wins in 19 and we could all see why. Enter Moyes, same players minus injuries plus Alcarez................spot the difference? Think I am safe to say we all can. So, we certainly should not have been just 1 point clear of relegation that Dyche dragged us down to.We can point at a lot of people responsible for dragging us to the bottom.
That isn't Dyche, given we were relegation fodder long before him.
I mean, this was the full calendar year before he rocked up;

... and even after this, we sat 19th with our lowest total in history going into Feb. So let's not rewrite history here - Dyche certainly didn't drag us to the bottom. We were well and truly already there. Then we had big sales in Richarlison, Iwobi, Gordon etc, and point deductions.
This team would be bottom half of the table next season under Moyes too.
Fortunately, we have new owners and the capacity to invest this summer to progress us.
What will absolutely deflate me is if there are no more signings by Friday night,this squad at present is not strong enough to keep us up and without signings and the injuries and suspensions that will occur then we will definitely be hard pressed to stay out of the bottom three. Very depressing I know but I’m being very realistic about our situation and hope some more signings will at least strengthen our fight to be strong enough to...Young and Keane against Bournemouth's intense press would be a disaster
Besides the fact that starting them would deflate the crowd before kick off
You are trying too hard.I think they have both had it hard with the threadbare squads and it has got worse for Moyes the last few weeks with the injuries—-let’s look at Moyes record since he came P 11 W4 D5 L2– Those four wins I thought he was lucky playing an injury ravaged Spurs and could have lost that if the game had lasted another few minutes, then playing an atrocious Leicester City both those games at home, then they beat Brighton away with one shot on target- a penalty and defended the whole game in a typical Dyche effort, won at Crystal Palace with a lot of luck but coming after a very hard fought mid week Derby draw v Liverpool that was understandable, then five draws out of the last six games, three of them with last minute goals all at home, the last game a very poor performance v WHU. Upshot, it would seem, is that we have been lucky but never unlucky.
I had to stop posting on the above post because it wasn’t letting me continue. Yes we should definitely have had a penalty in the United game but Moyes threw that game away by going on the defence when another goal would have sealed the win for us. Do you think you have made a fair arguement with your one statement “ we have been lucky but never unlucky” Of course things have gone against us but I was making the point that we were lucky to have played Spurs when we did and nearly everyone is beating Leicester, and the last five draws makes me think that Moyes has gone back to the natural way he is - more scared of losing the game than going out for the win especially when we are in a better position and not desperate for a draw and at home, seven of Moyes under Everton were at Goodison including the loss to Bournemouth when we were second best throughout the game. Let’s see how the remaining games pan out and with the injury list getting cut down. It will be interesting to see how we perform at Anfield next week where Liverpool have struggled to win against Southampton and Wolves and were out muscled and outplayed by Newcastle in a cup final——Top of the league and they will win it but haven’t proved to anyone, except their Media Mafia, that they are a great team, good going forward but vulnerable in defence. we harassed them at Goodison let’s have a go at Anfield, it’s down to Moyes how we play.So we have won 17 points from 10 league games.
