dyche thinks

Dave, we've got bigger fish to fry, then concerning ourselves with our bald ginger ex.

In 72 hours, we'll be marching straight into the centre of Mordor to take on the horde of RS orcs.
In all honesty though, Dave, if you really want to honour our predecessor, here's a thought:

Contact the owner of the Royal Dyche in Burnley, and inquire about opening up a franchise up in Liverpool.
One on the docks right near the new stadium would be perfect, mate! If you hurry, you can get one opened up just in time for the new season:

Sean would love that, mate! A shrine to his underwhelming and disappointing legacy of mediocrity.
Fans will love walking past that for every home game on their way to BMD. ;)
I’ll have a pint of ‘it was like that before I got here’ please

Amazing to think that even now, two and a half months after Dyche left, we'd still be out of the relegation zone with what he left us on.

We were in no danger whatsoever of going down under Dyche. We'd have been on about 27 points by now and well clear.

In retrospective yes, but it's a very dangerous thinking to expect that we can draw to keep the league, while also expecting Leicester and Ipswich to do as bad as they've become since then.

Because especially Ipswich looked decent around November/December and grabbed points, and I wouldn't have thought that they went on 2 points in 11 games.

Nope. If we were still on the mighty 17 points he managed to accrue, that would mean Leicester would have beaten us. So we would be bottom 3.

Thankfully he had gone by the time we played Leicester so we had a manager that knew how to win some games.

What?

He went months without scoring then as soon as Moyes taught him footy he slotted.

He did also score a handful of crap goals last season as well though.

Beto literally scored 4 in his entire time under Dyche and then 5 within a month of Moyes taking over.
