RM: "It's a shame for the game but it'll be the same for both teams."
The Olympic Stadium pitch is covered in protective sheeting so EFC won't be training on the pitch tonight due to its poor condition.

ffs they haven't played on it for nearly 2 weeks

I'll take both teams not being able to string two passes together and the match ending 0-0 like.

I don't think we should fear them but it's going to be a hostile home crowd of 65,000+ that we haven't played in front of for a while & not like the game last week, also they have a good home record, we have to go for them straight from the kick off and try for a early goal.
Sure we've been playing in front of a hostile crowd all season. Lol

There's hostile mate but these are as the president of French football club Guingamp blasted Ukrainian football ultras who provoked clashes during the club's away match with Dynamo Kiev, saying that what he saw at the stadium was “a war with rabid dogs that wanted to fight.”

It's great over here...as cheap as. The place is well more modern then when I came here on the way to Kharkiv.

Our match seems to be a really big thing, watching the champions Lge games and it keeps flicking over to talk about what's happening tomorrow.

Bobby getting interviewed, loads from kiev, looks like it's a massive event here.

The tickets in there end are about 60p, no wonder they sold out.

We've done well in Europe without wingers if not in the league. No Mirallas will kill our counter attacking play so I'd like to see us go for posession players and get Baines and Coleman involved.

Howard
Coleman - Stones - Jagielka - Baines
McCarthy - Barry - Besic
Naismith - Lukaku - Osman

Lids, I was based in Kyiv for 4 years and can guarantee the atmosphere in the Olympiskiy tomorrow night will be like a cauldron.

Can't wait. Just about to board my flight at Hesthrow now. I just don't see us going through, but I'm looking forward to going back to the city again

we are going to annihilate these

Lennon hasn't really travelled, it is Hibbert under a nomme de plume and he will terrify the 65,000

Bloody hell. He hasn't been playing well but I wonder what has changed.

I think I would play Atsu instead of him with Barkley and Naismith.

I'm usually positive before our matches (even the derby!) but I can't see us getting anything tomorrow... except injuries. Not sure why so many blues are optimistic for this.

Do us a favour then mate. When we get the result tomorrow, please go and support another team. Your negative opinions are not wanted. Over 1000 of us have payed good money to go and support tommorow. And miserable folk like you come out with sh*te like that.

How much better can Kiev be at home than they were at Goodison?

I know it'll be a tough game, but (one or two for them back in the team notwithstanding) we wiped the floor with these in the second half and should really have this tie won right now.

Mirallas is a blow admittedly. The full attendance will be daunting. They have a good pedigree at home and are unbeaten there this season. But I cant see them finding a couple of gears better than they did over here. In the past 4 seasons Stoke, Bordeaux, Maccabi Tel Aviv have drawn with them over there; Genk and Valencia have beaten them over there.

We have to feel confident carrying a lead into that match. Three possible results on offer - two of them will do us.

Because we're far better than them mate. They crapped themselves every time we we got near their box in the first leg. It's a shame we allowed them an away goal, if we'd have started with the same intensity as we had in the second half then I'm sure we'd have beaten them 3-0.
