Dystopia

The world is becoming more and more dystopian.

I've been using Instagram a lot lately for my business, and I've noticed there's an increasing amount of no mark wannabe influencers who 'sponsor' their own posts. They usually put something cryptic in the title, such as "all part of the journey" whilst posing on a tacky balcony in Dubai, wearing tight white trousers with loafers with no socks. People genuinely think they are brands now with their 49 likes.

Come and celebrate our dystopian world!
You just described what I imagine @chicoazul does.

The more you look into these freaks the worse it gets.

It's all for show of course, but the lengths some go to in order to portray themselves as living some extravagant life style is bizarre.
There's an entire sector that's sprung up to cater for these people.

You can hire people with luxury sports cars, Ferraris and the like, to turn up at your place and drive you around the town for an hour so you can get your pictures taken with them.
People who rent private jets by the hour. Not so you can fly somewhere, but so you can get your picture taken getting on board and sipping a drink in one of the seats (keep the window out of shot, this is important).
Then they head off to the bar at their local Hilton hotel and take a quick selfie (careful not to show out-side the windows)

Hey presto, you have a days worth of Instagram posts to show your luxury lifestyle.
9am post a pic of you getting into the Ferrari "Heading out for the weekend"
10am, the pic of you getting on the private jet and sitting at your seat with a drink. "New York, here I come!"
9pm. picture of you sitting at the bar at a Hilton hotel. "The Big Apple ain't ready for me"

In truth you never left your home town but your followers all think you've just took a Ferrari and private jet to NYC.
For added grift, you could take multiple clothes changes to each shoot so you can pull the same trick multiple times... "I'm off to Beijing Baby!"

All of this just off the top of your head, of course!

Wow. You are my hero. I would love to go to New York and Beijing.

Any more pics of your trip?
