A few did. @davek

One match going, local Blue, who was affected by Hillsborough memorably posted along the lines of, "I dont need some 12 year old on a keyboard in Kent telling me about Hillsborough"
Rodgers was completely out of his depth at that Anfield memorial trying to find the right tone for the occasion. Kenwright and Martinez showed him how to behave at such a solemn event.

Please feel free to delete as no offence is meant, but there was a quote accredited to Richard Nixon when quizzed about whether he'd run for president in 68' and he turned round and said "No chance, Bobby Kennedy is going to ride his brothers corpse right into the White House"

Just seemed relevant to the Rogers incident in jaycees original post

The majority of their fans have turned hillsborough into an absolute parody of itself. Stuff like the silent thread on RAWK, it’s disgusting.

I’ve seen reds chanting “JFT96” at blues like some sort of weird Geordie war cry, what an absolutely strange way to behave. Then you get the hillsborough shouts after every derby, completely made up.

They way Liivepool fans talk about Hillsborough these days is often quite sick, its like the familes of the victims and those who were directly affected by it are no longer as important, but its all about the football club and team rivalry, to me Hillsborough was a human tragedy and nothing to do with football.

100% I could not agree more.

It’s used by recruitment consultants from Leamington Spa that are masquerading as Liverpool fans as purely a football shout. You see it every day on twitter, RAWK etc.

Fan - Lol Liverpool lost
RS - 5 times
Fan - 12 years 1 trophy and a billion quid spent
RS - yous make fun of hillsborough

Disrespectful horrible rats they are.

It was more than a tragedy what happened before, during and after was a travisty, the day it happened we were at Villa park and heard the match had been delayed, asked a policeman what had happened" you scousers causing trouble as usual" was the answer we got,at the end of the game we were going back to our lift and asked another copper, basically got the same answer,we went to Nuneaton after none the wiser, eventually got back to Liverpool around 1 in the morning and went straight to bed bevvied, woke up the next morning went for the Sunday papers and seen a picture on the front of people dead, its the only time I have cried over football, the final was the only time I didnt care about beating them,in my eyes it shouldnt have been played
I know lads that were there that day,one commited suicide after suffering from depression,3 have never been to a game since and have no interest in football, these are lads that dedicated every second and every penny following Liverpool, one of them wont go to concerts, race meeting, anywhere theres a crowd, after all the evidence and reports there are still people who point the finger and make accusations about what they say is the real "truth",that will never changebut is that different to the likes of Solomon Grundy and his lies? Why do none of the lurkers pull him up over it?

I think we need to see him stay. As others have mentioned, it's far from clear whether he's a tactician of note himself now that his long-time cohort Buvac has been turfed out. And I tend to think he has the stink of loser about him that will be hard to shake off.

That’ll be the ciggies

Sadly, I think they have commercialised that tragedy. It's a disgrace in that sense.
And that they fail to recognise that it affected evertonians too is sad as.

This is how they recruit gullible and susceptible people into the ranks of Scientology.

It's also a red saying all of this, not the "ukranian". Pretty easy to put words into an unnamed person's mouth. I see it here in America, big Buffalo Bills fan, but I catch them doing the same all the time. I don't understand the need to be adored by others for liking a certain team, or having your team be adored by others.
