ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I fully support sterling in condemning the racism in Montenegro, but the main issue with racism in football is everyone crying foul when it's an opposition, but when they have a chance to really take a stand against their teammates this view just vanishes.

I said at the time of the suarez Eva affair, why are black players like sterling and Johnson wearing Tshirts in support of a racist just because he plays for the same team? The whole world know the type of cretin he is, training day in day out with him, Sterling would have known what he said to evra was to anger and upset him, it wouldn't have been any term of endearment crap.

As we've seen recently with their fans, they still have racist fans, he may well have copped it from them. Your not going to stamp out racism if you turn a blind eye to it when it suits. Obviously he was very young at the time of the incident, but Johnson wasn't young.

Didn't he smack a GF in his car ?
Raheem seems to think the average fan dislikes him cos he is black.
No, Raheem, they dislike you cos you are a right jumped up little blert who bedded brasses, fathered kids and treated the mother badly and smacked your bird and you flashed your money round all over the place being Bobby big time. The fact you are born in Jamacia may also influence a few.
A few online social media posts and he's suddenly being treated like Moore or Charlton..
He's a cracking player, no doubt, and personally I think he's now grown up a bit, but even on 5live last night the presenter called him "The most influential sportsman in Great Britain".. I mean really ??

Problem with Sterling is that the media accidentally turned the whole country on his side with their ridiculous (and it really was) treatment of him.

Even despite the above combined with his RS links , I don’t mind him at all at the moment, which says a lot as I tend to despise anyone that’s ever played one game for them.

Like it how they bring up charity work when defending these no marks.
Yeah, like that fella who took a picture of himself pissing on the wreaths that had been placed at the base of the Dixie Dean statue outside Goodison.
When it went viral he suddenly had done loads for "Charidee" and threw the JF96# campaign in for good measure so nobody could dare criticize the saintly fellow, after all it was done in good humour, three cheers for the charity prositutes, hip hip.....
