ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Well, if City win 7 and lose one, I'd be very hopeful they'll be crowned champions. But the games they play look difficult against good opposition. I'd even see Leicester at home as a difficult one.

City have the point advantage again after Wednesday, but they need at least 6 more to go with it because Liverpool wont drop many more points now.

The CL is well beyond them like. They're not a great team and will be blown away by Barcelona.

Leicester does look more difficult, but I suppose it will be 2 hurdles to go for Pep at that point.

I don't think you can under-estimate their players returning. The only time they have wobbled in the last 2 years is when those lads weren't playing. They are all pretty much back fit now. I may view it differently, but I see City cruising to wins in 2nd/3rd gear and Liverpool straining to wins in 4th or 5th.

Chelsea will be a very tough game for Liverpool. Sarai desperately needs the points, and in spite of all the chaos there they are actually playing well in terms of points. They will also want to win as there is no love lost between the 2 teams, and you can guarantee the knobhead demographic of Liverpool supporters will be busily goading Chelsea in the build up. He's also not taking the Europa League seriously.

Spurs are in the midst of a complete collapse, I think the write the league off soon. City absolute steamroller them. They and United are taking the CL seriously. They play the CL a few days before the City match. I imagine there will be enormous deflation if they are knocked out and if they get through I'd expect them to rest plenty of players. Thats the one banana skin though, forget what they say now, United will be up for that one.

Other than that I don't see many headaches for City. Brighton will have their sandals on final day. Palace struggle at home and Burnley will be safe by that point and an easy 3 points.

For Liverpool though I do see some tricky tests. As I've said Newcastle away will be very tough (they are great at home) Southampton are playing well under the new manager and will want a scalp and Wolves could take points off them too as they are well set up against the top teams. If they slip up, they are done. I maintain it will be City by 3-4 points. I'd be happy to see Spurs knock them out the CL though!

because I'm an impatient blurt who can't help himself
I dont even think, as you say, "fair play to them". The way theyve played in recent weeks, theyve only spawned wins through good fortune. They were lousy yesterday and still got the goods so it continues and they get the breaks. I honestly dont have schadenfreude towards their proper supporters.. the ones who are honest and can readily admit their luck is in and also acknowledge their weaknesses. I wouldnt, however, entertain even 5 minutes with the other "ring of fire... waaaah yers cant take us winnin" alehouse eejits.. even if it was the last pint of Peroni available. Each to their own though etc.

Comedically running into each other, as the ball bounces over their prone bodies, and Ross runs, trips over them and the ball bounces off his head and into the empty goal.

Cue, a clip of the rs huddled together in the previous match with Jordan saying that they need to come together to get it over the line.

It'd be a regular laugh riot if that happened.

I might even bring myself to fully forgive Ross lol if he scores the winner against them.

just hate the fans me only a few % of them are sound

they are just sheep, same moody shouts throughout the horrid fanbase

AHH EVERTON BITTER, LONSDALE WEARING WIFE BEATING BLA BLA BLA

even most my mates are blurts who fall under that category, mention everton it's banter, we mention them it's bitter and obsessed

COME ON CITY

The Liverpool supporting Telegraph Sport journalists were at it again today. A front page and two internal double page spreads were devoted to their favourite team. We got less than a quarter of one page for our match report.

COME ON CITY

They are proper knobs,

In the pub yesterday afternoon and one of my mates, he's been to ONE game in his life, puts his face in mine and starts singing "2-1 to the LIverpool", I was like that's not even an actual chant you plastic t1t. When they lose, not a word, fluke another lucky win and they all come out.

I cannot wait until it crashes down AGAIN

Inappropriate Language
Starting to get very, very nervous again now. Before yesterdays game I was pretty confident City would win it by 2-4 points. But the context of that result could well spur them on like the Pickford disaster and it piles the pressure on to City once again.

Another potentially important factor could be if Wolves make it to the FA Cup final. No doubt they'd rest half their team on the last game of the season at Anfield. So [Poor language removed] come on Watford.

wOLVES ARE VERY AVERAGE AT THE MOMENT AND THAT GAME IS ALMOST THE EASIEST ONE THEY HAVE LEFT.

I dont know mate, all that seems best case scenario to me.

IMO, City (though easily the best side in the PL) are vulnerable in terms of fixture pile up and the quality of the opposition they face in a short period of time. Something will defo give there. United away will be as tough as it comes. There'll be no calculations going on with United, they'll be eyeballs out looking for the win. Spurs are Spurs and can beat anyone...and games either side of a few days against City aren't going to produce back-to-back wins for either.

They stand to lose easily 5 points in this run in. Liverpool will have to have a couple of draws for City to stand a chance to win the PL. I just dont see it.
