Has everyone forgotten Tottenham keeper gifting them 2 goals earlier on in the season, I think you can make an eleven of goal keeping errors that have won them games .

Apparrently, flogging your season ticket to the tourists is quite a lucrative business. Mate of mine who went to the game for years on the kop stopped going for the reasons you state in your 2nd para. However he found out he could make a tidy profit on his s/t selling it to gullible plastics and he's a telly clapper now. He says loads of older rs do the same thing on a regular basis........the "famous anfield atmosphere" doesn't exist any more

It's not about being offended mate, just pointing out the hypocrisy of the lad in question. If he's Jewish and not offended good for him, my own in laws find the term slightly traumatising when they know it was used to justify the majority of their family being wiped out. The lad in question tweeting that gave a derisory, insulting and pathetic response when he was asked about it.

IMO, City (though easily the best side in the PL) are vulnerable in terms of fixture pile up and the quality of the opposition they face in a short period of time. Something will defo give there. United away will be as tough as it comes. There'll be no calculations going on with United, they'll be eyeballs out looking for the win. Spurs are Spurs and can beat anyone...and games either side of a few days against City aren't going to produce back-to-back wins for either.

They stand to lose easily 5 points in this run in. Liverpool will have to have a couple of draws for City to stand a chance to win the PL. I just dont see it.

Lets hope City gub Cardiff tonight to well and truly close the question of goal difference.

I think what we can well establish from last night is that Manchester United look close to being finished this season. 3 defeats in the last 4, to heavy defeats to Barca to come and the honeymoon will be well and truly over. I expect to City to steamroller them (though I agree the Leicester game remains tricky).

On the contrary Wolves look very tasty to me.They continue to cause problems to the top teams. In a game with something on it, I would say they have a better than even chance of getting something from Anfield.

I really hope Warnock sends out a weakened team tonight, just for comedy value and City run in heavy winners. I could see Southampton picking up a result at the weekend, and wouldn't it be nice if one of their players playing through injury like VVD actually ended up with the a long term injury as would normally be expected?

Big fan of your posts usually but calling someone a mongrel doesn't have to have anti-Jewish connotations. In fact I'd never heard of it until your post and i doubt i will again.

Alf off Home and Away called people flamin mongrels all the time. I refuse to live in a world where angry Antipodeans can't vent their fury appropriately.
