You wouldn't like to enjoy some amazing away days where Everton batter European opposition ? Sure you'd have the heart ache of losing in a final but Everton would be back amongst the best in Europe... it would be a great time for the club regardless.

I mean people here still get giddy thinking about Wolfsburg away and that match was over 4 years ago.

We've been starved of European football and now we're turning our noses up at champs league because we wouldn't win it ?

Cup runs - any cup runs - mean nothing if you dont have the trophy in your hands at the end of them.

And I'm not particularly arsed what some mush in Europe thinks of Everton, tbh.

Surely that applies to the league as well and yet you hail Martinez finishing 5th as a great achievement (FYI i think it was a good achievement, not knocking that season at all... loved every second of it)
 
Not to bad that tonight there game isn't over and hopefully spuds will focus on the CL.
I don't go with the theory that VAR will sort the [Poor language removed] out in the future, not while you have got Stevie Wonder and Lennie Peters as adudicaters.

There's no contradiction in me saying it was an achievement of sorts for us under RM and pointing out that a financially doped club like Liverpool that reaching a CL SF isn't good enough for them.
 
So Chelsea play Monday, Thursday Sunday

TRS play Friday, Tuesday Sunday

Just like Christmas, they get the max amount of recovery time beteeen games

I love to know how the rs schedulers get away with it
