Never ends with this lot does it. Not 1 normal person amongst the supporter base.

Let's face it they are all trying to get some media recognition when they devise and show, no sorry promote themselves on the top of these banners.
It's one big.... "look at me".... "aren't I great" .... "I'm upset, at the game, yet still socially aware to raise (flavour of the month) issue" ....

Sad bastards.... Remember reading Dickens "Bleak House" and he mentions 'rapacious benevolence' ..... Never really got the meaning, 'greedy charity?'
It never made sense, but looking at this type of "rapacious benevolence" I actually get it at long last...

Its so depressing the thought that they are top and could win the league.

Can you blame them? They have come a long way since the 1990s and 2000s and they seem to know what they are doing and seem to learn from their mistakes under their current owners.

You really are the master of the half truths aren't you Dave.

Barca are currently averaging 2.36 PPG which means they are course to finish the season with less than 90 points which is pretty much unheard of. In the last 9 seasons they have only managed less than 90 points once in 13/14. So to insinuate that they are having a great season in La Liga is a bit daft.

They are well clear in the League because Madrid have had one of their worst seasons in the last 50 years. They have already lost 9 League games with 7 games left. In addition Atletico are at a crossroads and are also having a poor season. La Liga has taken a real dip this year as evidenced by Barca being the only Spanish team to make it past the quarters of the CL.

Now let's move on to the treble you are talking about. Come on Dave we all know the Copa Del Rey has very little prestige in Spain, so by definition winning the treble doesn't have the significance you imply.

Then we get to the really funny bit that Barca have massive amounts of motivation to become legends as a team. Are you really questioning the motivation of the other 7 teams left in the competition or their opportunities to become legends for their team. We know the script you are now building up Barca the way you did Bayern. It is a win-win situation for you. Either the Redshite will be incredibly lucky if United knock out Barca or Barca will be rubbish and a former shadow of themselves if the Redshite beat them. You know the way you changed your tune after they beat Bayern.
What I take from this post is that @davek's comments are finding their mark across the internet equivalent of Stanley Park.

Only "2.36 PPG", only 2 decimal points in your statistics? I bet that doesn't even have them anywhere higher than 3rd in the Alternativa La Liga Tabla. But you are right, a decent team wouldn't have an 8 point lead at this point let alone let it slip from that.

Must have won last night, get the double t-shirts printed quick! Ring round for an open top bus for the end of the season!

Excellent post. Very much a fan base of self-promoting, self-aggrandising, virtue signalling bell whiffs.

hahahahahaha they've had 30 years of splurging money you absolute weirdo. It's like Brewsters millions. It's actually harder not to win the league in that time.
Do yourself a favour and compare money spent vs trophies won. How did we fare in the same 30 years?

A charity shield in 95. Dont even get me started on the 2008/09 FA cup. We gave them the cup after taking the lead.

Hmmmm...

Interesting response. I think I hit a raw nerve here.
