ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Still in City’s hands. Nothing they can do if City win out. Just annoying the way the games are falling that every weekend is ending with Liverpool on top stories rather than Liverpool having the pressure of going 4 behind.

City will drop points I feel. Liverpool will win all their remaining games. Such an easy run in.

Everyone said the same in 13/14. A Chelsea B team at home then Palace away and Newcastle at home. Everyone was expecting maximum points and they dropped 5.

City are good enough to win all their fixtures and so are Liverpool. City got over a huge hurdle today winning away at Palace. Liverpool just did what us and even Bournemouth managed.

If they win the league a part of me will lose hope in our future.

Daft as it sounds but in the 90's when we were gash and the PL era was in full flow I always hoped that we would one day change our fortunes and be the 1st club in the city to win the PL.

Even under Moyes when they won the CL I still held hope that a Man City takeover would befall us and we would push forward. When Moshiri came and the talk of BMD and "nothing will be the same" I genuinely hoped we would start to equal them.

Since Koemans first season its been complete free fall for us and a rise for them.

I cant see anything but a RS win this season or next as simply the other clubs around are at their weakest:

City wont win 3 titles on the bounce

Utd will do nothing under OGS

Chelsea have a transfer ban and will lose Hazard

Arsenal are Arsenal

Spurs are bottlers

They'll win it sooner or later just wish we could have sorted ourselves out in these last 3 decades.

City lost to Spurs in the CL, who's to say they won't do it again? And I wouldn't underestimate any of their away teams either.

All of the teams Liverpool are playing are either crap, will roll over for them because they're BFF, or are Wolves who will lose anyway.

Inappropriate Language
I saw a tweet saying something like Burnley have beat the reigning champions every year they’ve been in the prem and that city still had to play them. Ffs is this another we won the cup in 1887 when mars aligned with Venus so we’re gonna do it again. Well god help mankind if they do. You know I was one of them, oh I’m not bothered they’ll fall away but now I’m bricking it and that annoys me because I hate just thinking about the f******

It's theirs now. They'll beat Cardiff in 2ND gear, Huddersfield are just plop, Benitez will roll over for them so he can join in with the celebrations and Wolves have give up since they went out of the cup. City, I fear, on the other hand will drop points. But to put the icing on the sh!?$ they'll go on and win the CL as well. MY GOD.

Their only easy game is Huddersfield at home. The rest all require winning. When Liverpool levelled at 1-1 at the Etihad the title race was over. If you’d said then that with 5 games to go it would be in City’s hands every single person would have taken that.

City are being underestimated. They beat Liverpool in their pomp at the Etihad and should have beaten them at Anfield. They beat us when we put in a level of performance that saw off Chelsea and Arsenal and drew with Liverpool. They dismantled Chelsea United and Arsenal at home and have already beaten Arsenal and Spurs away. There’s no evidence to say they’ll definitely slip up at United or at home to Spurs. Liverpool have to hope for it but until then they can celebrate winning the World Cup every weekend all they want. Not one of those cultists can do anything about it if City win out.
