ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

This is it. I am surprised he was so derisory at the suggestion it was possible. He then seemed to defend that position by throwing in 2 or 3 other teams it could very easily happen too as if this made Liverpool's position any more secure. A rather odd response.

Chelsea are going through managed decline. Is Abramovic pulled out though, and demanded his money back there would certainly be problems in the short term. I think they are teetering to be honest. I remember with Leeds there were a couple of seasons like they've had and then it all went wrong.

United is right too. Their brand is declining in relevance over time. The only thing I would add, is that they are almost like Arsenal but keep trying to act like Real Madrid. I have concerns for them over this OGS appointment.

Spurs should be ok. The debt payments are enormous though (well over double what we are forecast to have to pay back, and could end up 3-4 times as high).

Liverpool you have the issue of the debt, and that wage bill is enormous. It only takes the growth of the game to slow up a bit, or reverse a bit and it's a big big problem, when factored in together. Are you saying I am correct in saying there £450m turnover was also dependant (in part) due to Coutinho? If so they will need to sell again in the summer? Maybe Mane for 50? Sarah for 100?

Thats some wage bill though, over £250 million quid. Miss the CL once and you are done, as they were under Benitez. Had the authorities not stepped in Hodgson would have taken them down that season with the fire sale in January. It's a big gamble what they are doing, enjoy it while it works, but don't go crying if/when it doesn't and expecting sympathy and to be bailed out again. There would be some poetic justice in them going the way of Leeds.
Your government would introduce a poll tax to save Liverpool FC "for the good of the nation".

This is amusing.

The RS fan having no Self-awareness whatsoever.

talkSPORT is belatedly waking up to the fact that the overwhelming majority of neutrals hate the buggers and don’t want them to win owt.

Dean Saunders gave the matter a great deal of thought and pronounced that all the rest of us are “jealous” of the RS “history”.

Despite that “history” being just that at the moment.....history from a bygone era, stretching back almost thirty years.

Darren Gough attributes it to Wayne Rooney declaring he “couldn’t bear it” if they win the title lol

Well said, Wayne.

You do realize Moomin was joking. Please tell me you're not that obtuse. On second thought, don't bother. You are. Just like the rest of the lurkers on here.

I don’t think @Moomin was joking. Only he can answer that. Certainly didn’t look a joke to me, strange joke if so. Please tell me you’re not that obtuse. On second thought, don’t bother. You are. Oh, and I’m not a lurker nor a RS. Steve said Blues don’t register on RS forums and pretend, when he actually admitted to doing exactly that a while ago. I pulled him up. Does that make me one of them. Does it? Really? I’ve not defended the RS, ive not said anything anti-us, I’ve merely pulled THE worst poster up on here about something he’s said. And I’ll do out again if /when he’s so hypocritical again.
