Yeah I know why, but its still utterly amazing, I think @Mikey_Fitzgerald said yesterday, if this was any other 2 teams involved it would be superb to watch, but the fact that we are "invested" heavily into 1 team winning it means we cant fully enjoy the spectacle and it is a spectacle. 2 teams trading wins like they aint no ting in the hardest league in the world, breathtaking, but ever terrifying due to the chance we could lose badly.

Due mainly to them being one game up on city since March - if City had dropped out of the Fa Cup early they would of been top since our draw with the RS in early March - Sky/ FA and media have manipulated this fact to make the title look more like a punch for punch finale to a Rocky film.

I don't think it is down to manipulation. For each match day Sky and BT have TV slots allocated to them. They get to choose what games they want to televise but have to fit that in around each team having a minimum number of games televised. Add in the Champions League fixtures and it is a bit of a stretch to think everyone is colluding.

Thing is, without his 4 goals scored from diving, he would be on 15 goals - fighting it out with our very own Richarlison and Vardy for 8th/9th place in the scoring charts.

They have been beaten once all season, City have had to win their last 11 games and will need to win their next 3 to win the title.

29 times the lead has changed hands so far this season and if you ask me I still think they will win it, wish I had your faith, City have gotta play Burnley and Leicester sides who are BANG in form and Brighton side who might be scrapping for their life, its defo not obvious to me whos gonna win it.

The thing is mate, this thread is pretty much a Laugh at Liverpool one. When they are doing ok, that makes it a bit harder to do, so like football fans the world over, we use any tiny fragment to belittle our neighbours. I cant understand, as a "Blue" why you need to defend them/attack fellow supporters for doing what Evertonians (and fans of every club) have done for generations.

In short, what happens in here is normal football supporter behaviour. You look the odd one out. You may well be a Blue, dont care either way if you are from Mars, but please try and be a bit more self aware of what teams forum you are on, and what thread you (mainly) populate.

It pains me to defend them and attack fellow supporters but there has to be some limits. Posters shouldn't be allowed to post things that simply aren't true or worse inflammatory. It just becomes a race to the bottom. As you say they are doing well and it is hard to find ways of poking fun at them. That though shouldn't allow this thread to become a 'I hate them the most competition'.

If you look at my post history I didn't post in this thread at first but since calling out a liar in here any post I make in other threads just results in accusations of being a kopite. Surely it should be possible to act as a Devil's advocate on GOT without accusations of being a kopite.

Personally I think it is important to point out when some of the more vocal posters are posting half truths or downright lies. I also think it does us no favours as a fan base to allow certain individuals to continually propagate ridiculous conspiracy theories.
