Not over yet. Early goal at Anfield and they’ll believe they can do it. Klopp might have to decide between the Newcastle game and the return leg though. His first 11 flogged to oblivion all season can’t navigate both games.

I really do rate Van Dijk. Think he's top quality and probably one of the best in the league. At the same time though.....he's won nothing, got found wanting in their biggest game of the season and is on the verge of winning just as much as James Collins this season. It's why overly hyping defenders just never works out, it's an attackers game.

Best thing is they go first.

City play and win and they can give up the ghost. City drop points and they can sack off the 2nd leg.

As it is they simply have to go all out.
