I’m in a WhatsApp group with a bunch of mates who are Liverpool fans (plus one Utd fan).

I was getting abuse throughout the match because I dared to not watch it (how can you not watch this occasion in THAT stadium etc etc).

Replied at the end with “if Alisson and Van Dijk didn’t watch, I don’t see why I should have to”

I watched it, of course I did, but told all my RS mates I was going to go to work. It totally cracks them that I wasn't even interested.

Similar with my lad, I told him not to take the pi55 out of his mates this morning but to make out that he forgot it was even on.

Barca being treated like an underdog this entire time has been so weird. They have the best player in the world, loads of other good/great players and a have a ton of experience winning these type of games (along with trophies...). For as good as Liverpool are, until evidence to the contrary, they couldn't clean this Barca team's boots.
