ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

There is. If it was away I'd see that game in the balance. The fact it's at home and City know that they can realistically win the title on the night will see them through. Hopefully.

They'll beat Brighton 4,5,6 nil.

90 minutes at home to get 3 points. That's their task.

Title showdown. Huge game against a team they are miles better than. For this not to go to plan we are talking nightmare scenario of sendings off, own goals, bad refereeing decisions etc. I'm confident but I'll still have the bleach on standby.

Massive massive game, win or bust. Hopefully City hold their nerve.

I thought Spurs at home and United away were unsurvivable. Leicester will be tough, but Id question just how tough. The Arsenal win they had: they played 10 men for most of that game dont forget. And Arsenal are abysmal now - especially at the back.

The can get a draw, of course. But City after the Spurs/United back to back wins are driven.

It is nervy though.

Yep.

It almost literally is one game left too. Brighton will be party time if they get the points against Leicester.

City should beat Leicester. Vardy on the break is a worry though, he’s bang in form as well. Just get it done City so we can see an end to the Vardy profile pictures from the cringy muppets.

I hope the nerves are worth watching the realisation at Anfield that they have lost it...

I saw this Leicester team earlier in the season away at Arsenal. They were brilliant for 45 minutes and then Arsenal stepped it up and it was no competition. As you say, that's Arsenal. City are a completely different animal.

If City play their normal game, it's over. In fact, all the talking up of Leicester might be a good thing. City will be pumped up anyway, but they'll maybe be more vigillant.

It's close now. I can almost smell Liverpool's season being over. By the end of Tuesday night it will be.

Rodgers is hardly going to want to do them favours when they sacked him and their fans hated him by the end of it. He's not liked as much as Rafael.
