ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

If City go a goal up before Liverpool score in Sunday then I'm putting a tenner on those filthy reds to take the title. I wouldn't put it past them to somehow send negative vibes down to the South Coast and a miracle to occur where City somehow manage to muck it up.
Good for them then. Over my dead body though... Id trade my years marinated blue one against allcomers too.

They have had such an easy run in it's quite incredible that only now are things likely to catch up on them. They were regularly getting 4, 5 7 days between games and now its three pretty close together the house of cards is falling down; Firminho, Salah out and VVD looking not too flash either. My heart is bleeding for them.

City better not bottle it vs the 17th place team in the league ffs.
I can see Brighton playing a team with kids...etc to give them some premier League experience.
At least they should play a proper game, last Premier League game for some time, no way will they want to defend for 90 miutes like Burnley and Leicester did.

The last few months have not been good for my health rooting against the RS, I pray for the day this Sunday the season is over and they’ve won nothing but I’m not saying it’s over yet

Be amazing watching them lose both competitions at Anfield, idiots will be singing YWNA at the end of both matches regardless and I hope they’re trophyless

They're not relegated mate, they'll be playing PL again in three months' time. I'm sure Brighton will play their first XI on Sunday purely on the basis that they don't want to be seen as "biased" by the RS. That said, the motivation for Brighton won't be there - they're safe, they're in the PL next season, their mindset will effectively be looking forward to their summer hols.

.... This working week is fun. Phase #1 with Manchester City done successfully; am now looking forward to phase #2 with Barcelona tomorrow.

I think City have shown there is zero chance of them bottling it.

They have won sommat like fourteen high pressure games in a row and had to come from ten points behind with half the season gone to get into this position with one game to go.

That team and their manager are mentally strong.

Now, Sunday might indeed throw up a freak result and City might screw up, but if they do, it won’t be due to lack of bottle :)

The RS have had all the advantages this season, until now. Lots of rest between games, playing before City in the run in probably 80% of the time, and no injuries to key players. City have been without KDB for most of the season, their best CB - Kompany - barely plays because of fitness. Not to mention all the dodgy decisions that have gone their way.

Carma is a b1tch

Kompany even recovered from that slip

The excitement in the commentators voice when Komapany slipped was greater than when he scored. Was brilliant when he just got up straight away.

As if it's Salah's decision. This is doctors orders, as it is with all cases of concussion nowadays. May / may not play v Wolves, I don't know how long they keep people out for in these cases. Wouldn't surprise me if he didn't play, depends when he returns to training.

VVD didn't train today either, incidentally.
He doesn't go down easily that fella.
