ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

.....absolutely no chance. Last game of the season at home, Brighton players will love being safe and being the centre of attention. They were terrific at Arsenal over the weekend, you need to realise this will be another major challenge for City.

Dunk and Duffy are a huge threat at set pieces and formidable defenders. Your assessment is totally incorrect, stand by for another very nervous 90 minutes!!!

No gloating, this ain’t over.

Absolutely this. Huge test of City's nerve coming up. Which will be the deciding factor.

The Carragher incident completely sums up their club. He uses his position of privilege as what should be an impartial pundit to mock Man City before the game about having no legends in the lounge. Their legend on the pitch then snorts one in from 35 yards to pipe him down and he spends the whole post match sulking. That’s kopites to a tee. Not an ounce of class between the lot of them.

Every last one of them!

If both teams win at the weekend, it’s the draw at Goodison that will have cost them.

That’d be... delicious
Not really mate.

If they had drew with city then they would be top would they not?

They have drew more than once this season, losing 3 rather than gaining 1 is more damaging over the season

What really angers me is the catchphrase and entitlement that those horrible lot have when it comes to this.

I've said it before but the jft96 is a catchphrase now by many fans who have no connection to that day.

30 years on , it should never be a Liverpool thing, it should be for the friends and families affected by that. Except there is still a fan base there that use it so freely.

Every game is difficult in the prem especially away from home. They’re in a great position but it’s far from over. Would be nice if City rediscovered their scoring boots rather than putting us through the wringer like this.

They could be 3-0 up at half time and we’d still have half of this forum flapping. “Remember Istanbul lads” we’d be getting from all angles. Solly March morphing into prime Stevie G.

Regardless of the merits of how tough Brighton away may or may not be; how nervous City may have looked during periods of recent games, how fortunate our neighbours are in most games......you would rather be in City's position than theirs! It remains in City's hands, they know what they they need to do and are the most equipped side of any in the division to go to Brighton and win. C'mon City!

For what it's worth, I thought the Wolves performance at Goodison (along with Spurs') as being the most impressive of any visiting side this year. They are more than capable of taking a point (or more) from the side currently occupying second place.
