ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I think a lot of us are freaking out because they barely beat Leicester. Who are admittedly better than BHA.

When it's 11 behind the ball defending like cowards, I don't reckon the quality of the team is really a factor. Burnley and Leicester were indistinguishable from eachother on the pitch against City despite the difference in league position.

Brighton could well set up the same, but I'm not sure their fans will appreciate that being dished up as an end of season send-off.

Yeah. It’s the way he does his predictions, he rams it down everyone’s throat every hour and states it as fact. We all get, by his own admission, that he hates Liverpool more than he loves Everton, (how bad is that? pointless following us) he’s probably the most prolific poster on this thread and he just repeats the same thing over and over. It grows rather tiresome. Can’t we just get back to laughing at them without reading his inane drivel.
You could just put him on ignore if you that intolerant of others.

Daughter has forwarded a tweet to me saying Liverpool players have asked for 2000 extra tkts for CL final for players, family and friends, but have been refused by UEFA so are taking them directly out of the fans allocation. Not sure how true but who would be surprised. Not on twitter myself, and no idea how to post it on here.

I just checked their stats. The only Big 6 team they've beaten at home is Man United. Drew with Arsenal. Lost to Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea.
In 2019 they have won 2 league games, against Huddersfield and Palace, even Bourmouth went to Brighton and scored 5.
The early season form has kept them up, it's the perfect fixture for City.

It's not even funny now. Martin Tyler "both teams should get a trophy" and tons of "yeah but City might get nervous" and "Liverpool might get an early goal" Never witnessed such bias ( except on the Andrew Marr Show and Question Time but that's for a different thread lol)
If Liverpool do win it I wonder if they’d still feel that way, the answer is no incase you wondered.

Check it isn't UEFA News. That's our loveable friend @chicoazul who is causing Kopite meltdowns with his fake site.

No they have got results when it mattered.

They have had a fair few tight 1-0s but still got the win.

Both teams are playing sides that are on holiday now. They won't care if they lose, both have exceeded expectations this season

I actually live in town... so today could either go very well or very badly for me. Hopefully it's the former, I'd be tempted to head out after the final whistle just to soak in the 'atmosphere' should they fall short lol
