"In my opinion, it won't be thought of that we came second in the Premier League and all that nonsense." - Andrew Robertosn.

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

It's "nonsense" to mention they came second. There's no difference between 1st and 2nd place when you push the eventual winners all the way. They've actually bought into it.

Un-kin-real.

It’s not hard when the media are pushing the narrative.

I don’t actually think this years title belongs to City, they’re rewriting history before it’s history. A marvellous achievement

The Earth is flat, you know...

It's a variation on the Man City "we're not really here" mantra: "We didn't really lose".

At least the City chant was self-deprecating.

I'm speechless these helmets are holding onto the BS soothing words of the media.

They lost.

Second is nowhere.

29 years becomes 30 years without the title. A scale of failure unimaginable for any so called elite team.

It's hilarious.

I will say this as well, we've set ourselves up for one heck of a vaulting from Liverpool fans if they win the Champions League now like

It's going to be merciless
That may be the case, but it's all part of the game. We rip them when things don't go their way, they rip us back when they do.
I would rather gloat now for 3 weeks with the risk of it coming back to me if they beat Spurs than miss this wonderful opportunity to rub their noses in it for throwing away a 10 point lead at Christmas.

Although the fundamental difference is that us Blues can take it as well as dish it out.
Banter and gloating has always been a one way street with those lovable rs.
When it's at their expense, the sub human side of their evil cult is there for all to see.

What is it with Liverpool fans and these fake scouse accents, like they have to prove they're scouseness, proper divvies the lot of them. Also he doesn't get the irony, our dreams of winning the league are just as realistic, with trophy dodger Klopp at the helm. Also they seem to forget they have graffiti round Melwood saying Klopp out still.

@HongKongToffee Happy birthday to you m8, and all reds everywhere.

Dunno about anyone else, but I'm getting seriously sick to the gills with all this 'slave owners' twaddle

That goon who was attacking Sterling for betraying his 'brothers' by playing for slave owners

I swear, to listen to it you'd think City were rocking up to the match up the River Irwell in a frigging galley ship, with the players lashed to the oars and a laughing Pep beating time on a huge drum

They wouldn't give a monkey's colon if they found out FSG were financing the systematic destruction of the ozone layer as long as they could keep Salah and Van Dijk, don't let's kid ourselves here

Next year etc.

"Fingers-crossed we don't lose anyone. We will go into next season as strong as ever. Whether we can put in the performances remains to be seen but we hope we can."
