“YOU LOST THE LEAGUE AT GOODISON PARK!”
I only wish the whole non rs footballing community could come together to sing this whenever a game goes into the 97th minute due to stoppage time. The level of wummery would be sublime.

ENOUGH.. PLEASE PLEASE STOP..

In work, a fella, genuine Scouser and red..

" If it was 1981 and still 2 points for a win, we'd have won that "

I can't handle this much more...

If it was 2016 they would have won it....theres no way the ref or lino would have said 'no goal' in the away to City game had it not been for goal line technology. Goal line technology cost them at least a couple of points this season and VAR will cost them more next and every season to come, finally a level playing field and no more Mane offside goals

I see that Spurs were originally drawn to have the "Home" Dressing Room for the final in Madrid. Its luxurious by comparison to the basic "Away" one the RS were allocated. Apparently though, its been switched round "for operational reasons" to do with the fanzones so the RS will now have it. Viva "The Special Dispensation Committee"... Ole'
I thought this was a joke so I looked it up.

Look at the difference between the two lol

Why was this changed?

What relevance does the location of the “fan zone” have when the players are ensconced in the stadium?

The dressing rooms must be adjacent to one another anyway.

And even if it does, why not just reverse the fan zone designation so that Spurs get the RS one and vice versa?

I just don’t get this at all.

None the wiser really meself….especially when Spurs were originally designated the "Home" Side

Champions League final dressing rooms: Liverpool in lap of luxury... Spurs in broom cupboard!
By James Badcock

If Mauricio Pochettino wants to conjure with Tottenham’s underdog status in his pep talk before the Champions League final, he will gain some assistance from the surroundings after a ricochet effect from security plans in Madrid saw Spurs get the small away team’s dressing room at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.
Although Tottenham are officially billed as the home team by Uefa for the June 1 sporting showcase, it will be Liverpool’s players who relish the plush environs of Atlético Madrid’s home ground dressing room, it was revealed during a media preview of the stadium’s facilities on Monday.

The reason, according to Fernando Fariza, Atlético Madrid’s stadium business and operations director, is security, which will see the fans from the two English clubs approach the stadium from opposite directions.

Tottenham have been designated as the team occupying the northern end of the ground, meaning the organisers have decided to allocate the London club the away dressing room and bench, located on that side of the stadium. Liverpool’s plusher dressing room, with a shower and treatment area on the scale of a decent-sized public swimming pool, will be pretty much under where Reds fans will be seated around the stadium’s southern end.
The decision to choose the allocation of the fan areas and corresponding ends of the stadium was taken “according to the characteristics of the two groups of fans, with security in mind”, according to Mr Fariza, who did not explain further what the distinctions between the two sets of supporters are.

Have had to turn Talksport off (again) this morning - Jim White is headlining it on his show, first two callers supposed Liverpool fans playing the victim card and trying to say what a classy football club Liverpool are - hahahahahahahahahahah!!!!

It was excruciating listening to that drivel today. Kopshoite after Kopshoite dialing up with fake indignation, Kopshoites pretending to be supporters of different teams condemning it but after a sentence or two their narrative would slip and you'd straight away realize it was yet another "sneaky" red-bellend pushing their latest agenda. They had the brother of Sean Cox condemning the City team and they way it handled itself, whilst proclaiming how good Liverpool go about things including the first thing that happened after winning the league was Liverpool congratulating City. (seem to remember it the other way around tbh)
Then for the "piece de resistance"... One fan phoned up and demanded City be given a points deduction for their disgraceful behaviour to towards the nations most loved team.
Someone phoned up actually telling the truth that nothing was mentioned about Sean Cox and that the whole thing was about Kiev only to be immediately shot down by the "unbiased" presenters, didn't hear nothing about how much fun it was and very respectable to smash up the City coach, all swept up under that huge carpet they keep off Stanley Park.
