Thanks to the City fan who shared my somewhat impassioned RS rant on here the other day to the City forum - I was delighted to see the shared loathing from the guys over there!

2 of the shouts were that

City were run by a man whose country has horrendous human rights violations - hence my reference to our own goverment.

City's spending is making the league uncompetitive - hence the Bayern shout. They have won the German league 7 years in a row!!! As well as featuring in 5 cup finals within that time. Nobody seems to have an issue with the uncompetitive nature of that.

Haven't read that article. So I clearly was taking your post out of context.

My bad. My family is from Bavaria so I'm a Bayern fan, but I am a blue if when we hopefully meet. That's why I was defensive for Bayern.

This article is brilliant and fascinating and details just how poorly that club heave treated their own all in the quest for success. It should never be forgotten.
