When did walls get pushed over?
Are you referring to the league cup game at Walsall?

The internet bewilders me. Its Saturday night, the weather is sound. Tomorrow we have a cricket World Cup, the British GP, and the mens Wimbledon final.

But you are on here.

If you had done us in a match, won the league last night, or signed Carlos Fandango from under our noses I could get it. But you have me beat.

And in my defence, I am as well cos I have been asked to be, and in about 15 minutes, wont be.

Rival fans clashed. One set of fans retreated and were blocked in and a wall collapsed with 39 innocent people killed and hundreds more injured. There is no denying that. The point I was making is nobody "pushed" a wall onto people. I was responding to a comment on here saying it was "better for them to run on the pitch than push walls over". Not denying what happened, don't know how anyone could. Those actions caused immeasurable damage and grief for the families affected.

Utterly shameful.

Know this though: you will never be allowed to re-write history. You will never be able to erase the stain off your club. You will always be known as 'more than a club'...for all the wrong reasons. Yes, Liverpool have won plenty of cups, but they weren't worth it. None of them.

Which is why your club's heartfelt apology and deep sense of contrition was of such comfort to them. What's that? They never apologised? Not even 30+ years later when they played Juve at Anfield? Gesture of Friendship was it?

Shameful

It collapsed because of the pressure on it. I am not denying or rewriting history, but no Liverpool fan pushed a wall onto anybody. The actions caused opposition fans to retreat and the result was the tragic deaths of innocent people. If you were to explain what happened would you say "Liverpool fans pushed a wall onto people"?

What was applying the pressure to this wall?

Ahh so you was there?

And the pressure of what on it? People standing next to it or people pushing against it?

It's simple physics pal. It wouldnt have fallen if liverpool fans weren't pushing it. You are re-writing history and you are trying to deny Liverpool fans horrific actions - so much so that they were imprisoned.

I hate talking about this because it feels like we are point-scoring but you're just burying your head in the sand. LIVERPOOL FANS and THE CLUB have been complicit in sweeping Heysel under the rug for 33 years. Its absolutely shameful and I'd be ashamed if I was you.

I’m not being funny but 14 people went down for manslaughter. Yes no one pushed the wall from the other side but clearly there was some blame attributed to people as to how the event happened and it wasn’t all as coincidental as you try to make it seem.
