I'm happy to know that, under all the bluff about football achievements, they KNOW - every single last one of them KNOW - what their club and fans have done outside of matters on the pitch. They carry that mark of Cain for all time.

Me? I'm a follower of a football club. Full stop. No bad conscience here at all. Never will be.

I honestly don't know what I'd do if I followed a football club who kept doing what they keep doing. I'm glad that I don't need to ask the question. I might moan about Everton as much as anyone, but deep down, I know they wouldn't follow that path.

I'd stop following Everton. I wouldn't even watch them on TV. I'd be too ashamed.
 
If any of you come across any Liverpool fans before now and Sunday's Charity Shield game can you please remind them that they shouldn't even be playing in it.
The Charity Shield is the traditional 'curtain raiser' between the League Champions and the FA cup holders of which they are neither (remind them who won them both if you would!). They are there because they are losers and that is an absolute fact. Watch their faces crumple as you tell them... :)

Ive been informed by a more than one knowledgeable red that this game is being played because city won the title and they won the european cup. When i tried to correct them i was told im just a bitter!
 

Everton season preview on the Guardian... about a third of comments being Kopites. Because it's all about them.

Sample: "between us and Everton the city's teams have won the European Cup six times!!!!!"

Why could that be, I wonder?

Liverpool, of course, had nothing to do with the ban on English clubs. It was a culmination of events involving many clubs over the years.
