Not having any money and not finding any value in the market to improve a side that just won the CL are two different things though. And it wouldn't be unusual for Klopp to believe in himself to work with what he's got. £30m buys you average these days, and a £60m player isn't coming to sit on the bench.

You mean failed to win the league, of course you can improve a side that couldn't hold a 10 point lead.

The Charity Shield is the traditional 'curtain raiser' between the League Champions and the FA cup holders of which they are neither (remind them who won them both if you would!). They are there because they are losers and that is an absolute fact. Watch their faces crumple as you tell them... :)
