ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I think this years budget was spent last year, looking at it, and hearing Klopps comments.

And I agree with the comments that we’ll regret it.

We’ve got depth in midfield and everywhere at the back except left back, but behind our first choice front three, it’s a big drop off in quality.

But then again, getting players of near their quality is silly money now after what happened with Neymar and Coutinho fees.

Only a couple of years ago, Pepe would’ve gone for about £20m, where he was £72m this year!!

Liverpool should try and get Coutinho back and pay on the drip

£80m ish net over 4 years, compared to Peps £430m ish net over 3 years.

And yeah, yeah, I know, net spend trophy FC and all that but it's a far better barometer. We don't just spend and spend without ever having to sell.

The clue is in the word 'spend'. Klopp has splashed the cash in no uncertain terms since he arrived and the 'Net Spend Trophy' is simply
smoke & mirrors to hide it. It's just that Liverpool sell their best players on a regular basis: Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling for example.
If City sold Aguero, De Bruyne & Bernado Silva then we would win the Net Spend Trophy - hands down.
The reason why you haven't won a single domestic title for 30 years is because of that. Until recently Liverpool was a selling club (as per above).
City have won 4 (yes 4!) titles in the last 7 years. You don't sell your best players and win the league as you have found out year, after year, after year,
after year.....

How their players recover from a lengthy season last year, a busy international schedule and only a relatively short break will be interesting to see.

But Klopp bums off the domestic cups every season to reduce game time and he will do the same again this season.
Whilst City were busy winning an unprecedented treble Liverpool were having 'warm weather training' in Dubai on numerous
occasions. He's moaning again today in the media about how many games they have played over the last 2 seasons. I can tell
him this: They have played nowhere near the number of games City have over the last 2 years.
He is a serial moaner. If it was Jose, he would get slated. Klopp gets his usual free pass & sympathy from the media.

Would you agree that Jose Mourinho is boss?

Mate you're okay in my books, but please give the net spend chat a swerve. You have the most expensive keeper and, until Man United's complete descent into complete lunacy, had the most expensive centre half in the world. By a long way. The great Coutinho heist doesn't change that, Liverpool have been spending like MC Hammer for years, and have the squad to show for it.

Klopp is crying again. We need to all bring some dummys and wet wipes to the next Derby just for him.

He's had unlimited funds to buy the biggest squad in the league and he's still moaning about fixture lists.... Again.

Mate, if it bothers you so much, why did you come to England in the first place? Other top teams dont run all their best players into the ground, they use their squad and hence don't need to complain, he's in the wrong, not the fixture schedule.

He's cry arsing around about the season starting early. The season is starting early because he was crying about there being no winter break, so they brought it in. Why don't the FA tell him to shut up? Mourinho and Ferguson used to get told off by the FA for moaning similarly and persistently.

The BBC's Simon Stone is at it again - defending Klopp:

In the article he actually states ' Guardiola's comments do require some context. Firstly, at no stage did Klopp mention a figure when he spoke to journalists on the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

This is what Klopp actually said '
“People talk about it like, ‘now another £300million or £200m’.
“There are maybe only two clubs in the world – it looks in the moment like Barcelona and (Real) Madrid can do the same – (Manchester) City and Paris St Germain that can do it every year.”

So Simon Stone is simply telling blatant lies to defend Klopp & Liverpool on the BBC.

You’ve made this argument before and tie yourself up each time.

Our owners have proven since they’ve been here that they are committed to spending a relatively small amount of money, but that if we sell someone for a lot of money we spend it.

The net spend matter to Liverpool because that’s how our owners run the business side of the football club.

Like it or not, that’s what they do.

It’s a little self fulfilling because if we were winning the league players like Suarez and coutinho may be less inclined to leave, but ultimately the lure of Barcelona wouldn’t still have been big for them.

You don’t sell your players because financially you don’t have to. But you still spend a lot, because you can.

It’s why you have an unprecedentedly strong squad, and that unprecedentedly strong squad is why you won an unprecedented domestic treble.

And why you go into this season favourites again for the league.

Having said all that, you’re still a no mark club with a massive inferiority complex that comes through in every one of your posts.

You are fishing for likes and attention but you are a previously banned United supporter

You have a second XI that would probably finish top 6 if it was a separate club.

Well done for winning what you have, but you lot will have made as many changes in cup competitions as anyone else, it’s just that your replacement players are of a higher standard than everyone else.

It’s pretty simple.

You’ve got a quality manager, who has spent a lot of money without having to really sell anyone, and so have an exceptionally strong squad.

You’ve therefore won a lot.

It’s relatively QED

Hahaha bitter much? Why are Liverpool fans bitter of every other club's success? You're all like four your old little boys at Christmas, instead of being happy with what you have, you are just jealous that ever other kid got presents as well.

But you'll always admit your present is better, even though you know deep down it isn't. You're just a bitter spoilt child. You're bitter that we cost you the league and city got the best Christmas present that you really wanted. Just deal with it, don't hate the other four year old child, it's not his fault. Petty childish remarks from a petty bitter poster.
