When they, and their fans, start acting like they’ve been there before and don’t obsess over other clubs not giving them the respect they desire, they’ll be far better off.
I don’t know about last season, but the year before you could still buy champions league tickets on the door and they had adverts in the metro.
It takes more than winning for 4 or 5 years to change what they are.
You don't get it do you.
A very large amount of City fans hold UEFA and the Champions League in total disdain for what it is:
A corrupt organisation running a corrupt competition for the benefit of the European cartel.
I hardly never miss a PL game but I just don't bother with the CL as I can't be doing with it.
For City fans the Premier League title is THE big one.
I will give it to you that both our manager and owners think the CL is the Holy Grail but the match going
fan base genuinely couldn't give a toss about it.
We may have adverts to sell tickets but we don't have a stadium full of JCL's and glory hunting fans looking for
a day / night out whilst they visit the UK. As I said in my previous post as far as the Premier League title is
concerned we 'have been there before' on numerous recent occasions. Unlike Liverpool who haven't had a sniff
of it for 30 years. Stop believing your own hype. You are the most hated and despised football club and set of fans
in the UK and have been for a very long time. Why? Because of what you are. What you do and what you have done in the past.
You’ve made this argument before and tie yourself up each time.
Our owners have proven since they’ve been here that they are committed to spending a relatively small amount of money, but that if we sell someone for a lot of money we spend it.
The net spend matter to Liverpool because that’s how our owners run the business side of the football club.
It’s a little self fulfilling because if we were winning the league players like Suarez and coutinho may be less inclined to leave, but ultimately the lure of Barcelona wouldn’t still have been big for them.
You don’t sell your players because financially you don’t have to. But you still spend a lot, because you can.
Having said all that, you’re still a no mark club with a massive inferiority complex that comes through in every one of your posts.
They are winning a HELL of a lot of pots though aren’t they? Seems like they’re winners to me.When they, and their fans, start acting like they’ve been there before and don’t obsess over other clubs not giving them the respect they desire, they’ll be far better off.

I think City’s and Chelsea’s identities are that of teams that have won lots and lots and lots of titles over the last decade. Arguing with fans of other teams on an Everton forum is pretty indicative of the identity of your fanbase if I’m honest. So act like it.
Being more bothered singing about us, than about you afternwinning the treble isn’t acting like it!
Your club currently has no identity, other than having recently become good. None.
The only identity you have is the plucky underdog past you had, which is now lost.
Stop being so arsed about trying to force a rivalry with Liverpool.
You’re currently our rivals the way Chelsea were for a few seasons when mohrinhonfirst arrived and they were successful, and we seemed to play them 6 times every season.
But that rivalry faded, first because we went [Poor language removed] again, and then because they have dropped off. It’s a temporary rivalry, like with forest in the 70s and 80s.
That’s not a bad thing, but you lot seem to want to force it into being more than that, and it’s just nowhere near.
Even last year when it would’ve had a direct impact on our own chances for success, I still couldn’t really bring myself to want united to beat you.
Still a better identity than being a stain on English footballSo act like it.

Never heard so much rubbish since the last time I read a post by a cultist. No one at City is forcing a rivalry with :Liverpool. It's not as though we waited for your coach and ambushed it with bricks, bottles and pyrotechnics. It's not as though we booed your injured players off in the same manner you booed off ours and cheered at their injuries. It's not as though our manager is running his mouth off in the media every five minutes the way that gurning clown Klopp does.So act like it.

Branded worst in fans by UEFA and universally despised by all other fans, but they think they’re loved. On par with members of the Manson family!Still a better identity than being a stain on English football
