There's really no excuse for them not to be winning trophies on a regular basis. Amazing how they've had the expectationa reduced so drastically. Giddy at last day top 4 trophy wins, even gidddier at getting to kyiv (note the spelling) despite being outclassed.....what would Shanks have said? Tut tut.

But if the teams [Poor language removed] and the managers only ranked 5th out of the top 6 then they shouldn’t be under pressure to win anything

It;s amazing this: you have a manager who's won the square root of f.a. in three seasons at Liverpool (you'd have hung Hodgson for less, btw) - a man who is a serial loser in finals for Liverpool - but you dont think that he'll be under scrutiny for his job if Liverpool come up empty handed again this season.

one of the cringiest articles i've ever read. I'm surprised i got half way down. They've smashed a world record fee for a keeper, and this article is trying to vindicate it by going in depth with explaining how he can do drag backs around strikers, how many times he rushed off his line and a very in-depth description of a save he made.

Question: if after four seasons in charge of Liverpool Klopp has won nothing do you think he wont be looking over his shoulder? I cant recall a Liverpool manager EVER surviving such a barren spell.

If he finishes fourth or higher and amuses journo's with his "wacky Jurgen ways" then no, he'll be fine

If he finishes lower than fourth and starts biting the feeding hands, then maybe

Where have I said I don't think he'll be under scrutiny? Your predictions are scatter-gun at best and if you keep predicting Liverpool to lose or fail, you will occasionally be correct. When Klopp isn't sacked this season, will you come on here and admit you were wrong?

That's an extremely low bar for any Liverpool manager to be set.

As I said, no Liverpool manager, since I think Shankly in the late 60s / early 70s, has had such a barren spell.

It'd be remarkable if he kept his job.

i really think you're giving way too much credit to Kopites here: they are notoriously fickle and will have him down the road if he comes up empty handed again.
