ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Not the hardest group by any stretch but I can see them potentially going out. Just goes to show what an awfully easy route they had through to the final last season. Can never get that again.

I fear them coming third though they could easily win the Europa League. They'll be quarters at most in the Champions League. Basically as soon as they draw a decent continental team or Spurs they go out of that.

15th Sep: Tottenham vs LFC (PL) 18th Sep: Napoli vs LFC (UCL) 22nd Sep: LFC vs Southampton (PL) 25th Sep: LFC vs Chelsea (CC) 29th Sep: Chelsea vs LFC (PL) 3rd Oct: LFC vs PSG (UCL) 7th Oct: LFC vs Manchester City (PL)

That could easily be meltdown time for me. All going into autumn when Klopps side throw the towel in. Could go really wrong for them this season.

Mate your original post on the subject got ridiculed off about 5 posters here.

If he's on the right hand side isn't he going to shift on to his stronger left foot though and come inside like any prominant inverted wide player today like (Ronaldo Messi Coutinho Dembele Mbappe Mane Pulisic Thauvin Sane Salah Brandt Sterling Robben etc ) all do.

Have you not noticed how football has moved on from the traditional winger who used to hug the touchline and cross near the byline and isolate a fullback and rarely use their weaker foot cutting inside, that type of wide player was easier to mark out of a game as they didn't go inside and cause damage like the wide players today who's role has changed to a devastating fashion with more goals and more involvement in the final third.
Kopites are indeed gobshites !! Do you agree lad ?

Would love Van Dijk or Salah to get a cruciate ligament injury like our players always seem to get. 6 months out for just one of those and their seasons over.
No way as it gives them their ready made excuse, if Salah didn't do his cruciate we would have definitely won it. When they go tits up, I want every one of their players on the pitch. Remove the ambiguity and the excuses before they ever start

I was listening to talk sport last night and it seems they're not only gonna with the Premier League, they're gonna win the Champions League too. Everyone fears them apparently. Must say Noel Gallagher's comments on them yesterday were spot on. As said on here many times they are delusional.

Echo headline:

"Neymar and Kylian Mbappe won't have experienced anything like a Champions League night at Liverpool"

...that's Neymar the Champions League winner and Copa Libertadores winner who's played in the biggest games in Brazilian football and Spanish football, and Mbappe who just tore up the World Cup and played in and won a World Cup final.

How on earth will they cope?
